Cons: I rented a car through your company between 28.10-01.11.2024. I paid the Discover Cars rental fee online. But I was told at the rental agency that this payment was only for Discover Cars and that I had to pay 86 km (Bosnia and Herzegovina mark) for the Euro car. And I made the payment.

Pros: Friendly and good service.

Cons: The car was pretty old, and a 1000 km into our rental the car lost power and the dash lights lit up. Turns out this is a regular thing that happens every 1000 km. Had to walk through a reset process over the phone. Wish the agent would have told us this in advance.

Cons: The customer service was slow, they said they will assist if any problems are met during use but they did not fulfill the job. There was a minor back bumper plastic damage that occur during use and 50 euros were charged. The severity of the damage was just local are of maximum 10x20cm of scratch.

Pros: This is our third time renting with Euro Rent a Car in Sarajevo and we've always had an excellent experience. The desk rep is very helpful, often upgrades our vehicles at no cost, and never tries to sell us additional cover and services. The cars are always clean and an in excellent condition. They provide Green Card, which is necessary to cross the borders, on the spot (at additional cost) unlike other agencies which require a seven-day notice for this.

Cons: Desk rep is not often at the desk and, although they show up within minutes after you call them, this requires using a foreign mobile phone & results in additional roaming charges.

Rate includes
Free cancellation with a full refund up to 48 hours before your pick-up time, Unlimited mileage, Collision Damage Waiver (deductible: € 800.00), Theft Protection, Roadside Assistance (in the country of pick-up), Third Party Liability (TPL), Airport surcharge, Road tax, VAT (value added tax), Free modifications.
Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 18 years.
A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 22.

Maximum rental age is 75 years.
A senior driver fee applies to drivers over the age of 72.

The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 2 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.

A driver license printed using a non-Roman alphabet (Arabic, Japanese, Cyrillic, etc) must be supplemented by an International Driving Permit.
Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if accompanied by the regular driver license.
Deposit and deductible policy
A deposit will be blocked on the customer's credit card and will be released within 30 days after drop-off.
Optional extras and services
Available special equipment: GPS Navigation system, Baby seat (up to 1 year of age), Child seat (2-4 years of age), Booster seat (4-10 years of age), Roof rack, Snow chains, Delivery fee.
Prices for extras are shown on the booking page.

Adding additional drivers is allowed.
There is an additional charge for each driver.
Underage additional drivers are subject to both Young Driver and Additional Driver fees.
When picking up the vehicle, all drivers must be present and must provide valid documentation.

Certain additional drivers are subject to both an Additional Driver fee as well as either a Young Driver or Senior Driver fee.

Delivery/Collection service is available only by previous request.
Additional charges will be applied.
Fuel policy
The vehicle is provided with a certain amount of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid additional charges.
Additional information
By law, winter tires are mandatory on all roads from 15.11 to 15.04.
Snow chains are recommended in icy/snowy conditions, especially when traveling in mountainous areas.
Rental period
The maximum rental period is without limitations.
If the renter would like to extend the rental period, renter should return to the car hire office at the end of the rental period to sign a new agreement.
Business hours
Service outside of business hours is available by request and for an additional charge.
Period of time, during regular working hours, when the car is still guaranteed for the customer, if the customer is late for pick up (the grace period) is 60 minutes.
