Express Car Rental at Antalya Airport International Arrivals

Pros: I rented a car in Turkey twice and was scammed twice. Disgusting !!!!!

Cons: 14 /01/24. when I returned the car, they tried to cheat me out of €300. Disgusting behavior and lack of professionalism

Pros: Clean the cars. No smoking in the cars and get friendly personel

Pros: the guys themselves were pleasant enough but insisted that because of my age I needed to pay them extra. This was not acceptable.

Cons: leaking front tyre, instance about needing extra insurance. The whole process is not transparent enough.

Cons: They delivered the car 1 hour early, disrupting my plans. The car wiper blade (rubber) was broken, and there was no wiper fluid. They asked me to return the car early (due to traffic) but then made me wait a long time before sending me to airport because there was only one person attending the shop.

Pros: I will not use this company again.

Cons: Looking for any excuse to deduct something from your deposit.

Cons: Car not what we expected too small for 4 adults and luggage even though we ordered one which should have accommodated us. Very underpowered engine. Charge made for over 66 yrs driver which wasn’t mentioned when booking. Rep tried to forcefully sell us extra insurance even tho we told him several times we had our own. First car had faulty clutch so we had to go back to the rental office the next day for the new car. This was probably because we told them how far we’d be travelling!

Cons: Complete nightmare. Avoid using like the plague. Not enough room here for a full explanation but we ended up getting ripped off and forced to take their insurance although we already had our own. Costing an extra £160. Car had 80k on the clock and barely drivable. Eventually they did replace with another car but aircon not working half the time. AVOID.

Cons: First car had covered 159000km and the condition was average. I had to return car two days later because the company insurance ran out. The second car had a screw stuck in the rear tyre, the process took nearly two hours to sort. Not a good experience.

Cons: Idiocy of trying to direct me in heavy rain, in the dark when the staff had no idea where I was and the address of the rental office was misleading.

Pros: Free collection and drop off back to the airport. Great service from mehmet when dropping the car off. Quick process.

Cons: The car seat was not fitted properly. The worker left the seat in the back for us to fit, but did not inform us or provide instructions.

Cons: You had to phone the company as you arrived- this wasn’t convenient as our phone network charged a bomb. They only accept credit card for the deposit- this I knew but I wasn’t aware that American Express was not accepted. We were therefore charged an additional £50. They gave us a car with no fuel- the situation was awful trying to find a petrol station at night in a new city with no sat nav. We filled the car up and returned it with half a tank. Seems a bit of a scam.

The tank was given on empty whereas I had agreed to full-to-full. I wasted £30 on petrol that wasnt used. The baby car seat was very expensive. No one helped us with bags

Cons: 'Meet and Greet' should be explained further by Discovercars. I understood this to mean the rental agent will bring the car to you and you can drive away from the airport. In actual fact they meet you and take you to their rental office which is 5mins drive from the airport, and also provide a drop-off service on returning the car.

Cons: Despite being a little late arriving to meet us at the airport, Tayfun (the car rental representative) was very helpful overall.

Cons: If the office was directly located at the airport it would have been a plus, but still as there is a pick up and drop off service it compensates.

Pros: Car was good, Tayfun was very kind, no problem to do all papers and he went at 4.00am to drive us back to airport. Very good car rental.

Pros: Their communication was very good and they were able to meet me as soon as I landed in Turkey. Tayfun was very kind and took us to the car office to complete the rental. He gave us a detailed run through of everything about the car, we were very happy with the car it was spacious and brand new with A/C and zero problems

Cons: On arrival ther was nobody at the airport and I had to wait over an hour and asked people around there and I phoned the company and let them know I was waiting. After a 15 minute wait someone came out and told me they didn’t have an office at the airport and told me we had to drive for 15 minutes out of airport and on arrival to car rental place I was told I had to pay extra for insurance £70 and also extra £100 for credit card somehow my credit card did not work at their office and so on……..
