Felirent at Alghero Fertilia Airport

Pros: Nothing.

Cons: Agent was rude and unhelpful. Information when booking with Discovercars.com was unclear. Would not use in the future or recommend.

Pros: Great, everything perfect! Very kind and helpful instructions at the check-in desk.

Cons: 1h30 to pickup the car

Pros: It was quick and easy pick up process and although DC does not mention it, Felirent have also keybox for drop off.

Cons: I have received a strange call approx. 16 hours before arrival (at 8 PM!), that they might not have car for me next day, because of overbooking and agent recommended to me to cancel my reservation. I did not do it, and next day I have spent couple of minutes with representative from DC on phone call, who explained to me it might be a bit scroupulous behaviour of Felirent agent to motivate me to cancel my reservation because someone would pay more.

Pros: Nothing. Won’t use this site again.

Cons: Car pickup took 1.5 hours and only 3 people ahead of us. Took long to find the lot - no signs anywhere. Drop off there was nowhere to put keys. Had to wait until 8am for office to open. Several other people waiting to return cars. Ended up barely making flight due to back log in security from people waiting to drop off cars.

Pros: Nice personel, quick, everything explained and fair treatment.

Cons: One agent working, spent 2hrs after landing because of lack of employees, procedure that took too long, no one to phisically check the car at drop off. Felirent is a no-go for the next rental for sure.

Cons: Miért kell fizetni young tax-ot, ha valakinek 7 éve van jogsija 24 évesen? Tegyük fel 30 évesen 2 év tapasztalattal nem fizetnék? Miközben a jelenlegi rutinom sokkal biztonságosabb. Ezt érdemes átgondolni.

Pros: Good car and staff

Cons: After 2 weeks I didn't receive my €300 deposit yet.

Cons: Everithing was ok.

Cons: Car had very dirty windows all around but front windscreen was nightmare, unable to drive the car during the sunny day but mainly after the dusk. After that the car was pretty good, free upgrade from Fiat Panda to Citroen C3. Recommend this company

Pros: Quick, efficient, got the deposit back after 2 days, never got it that quick and I rent cars regularly.

Cons: Car rental desk is not actually in the airport. You have to walk on the street to get there, there are no sidewalks coming out of the airport. They tried to charge us for scratches that were on the car when we picked it up. Make sure you take videos and pictures when you pick up the car.

Cons: missing ordered car from selected vehicle segment difficulty finding the office at the airport in Alghero and Cagliari wrong address for returning the car in the general rental conditions

Cons: The fuel tank was not full at the pick up - refund offered by the agent however when email sent to customer support no reply received.

Cons: 1. No information, that if the client does not have the right credit card, Felirent will automatically charge additional "Premium car insurance", no matter that you paid Full coverage before. (In my case 224,- extra) 2. Offering a car, which they don´t have at all. 3. The deposit refund took 36 days after they promised 5/7 working days without answering questions, picking up phone calls, etc.

Cons: Fuel tank not full as stated by representative and rental form, issue was resolved as not charged for fuel on drop-off, also would have been helpful if fuel type was confirmed as not familiar with term benzina for petrol

Pros: No problems with either pickup or drop-off, no hidden costs. Desk attendant was very nice, a very big plus is also not pushing any additional insurance plans on the client - love that! At drop-off, despite there being a long line of clients waiting for pick-up, it took no more than a minute, just got instructed to drop the keys in the key box and I was off to the airport. Deposit was back on my account in a matter of days, no questions asked. Will definitely come back if I visit Sardinia again!

Cons: Not huge problems, but the state of the car was not perfect - one of the tyres was damaged (side wall cuts). Also had to inflate them during our rental as they were a bit flat. Windshield washer fluid could have at least a bit of soap added, just water doesn't do the job sometimes, especially on such a dusty island as Sardinia (also ran out of it - but I could've just used a lot). Fuel policy on DiscoverCars said full to full - was actually same to same.

Cons: Didn't get 208. Navigation didn't work. Car was dirty when I received it outside. Inside it was relatively clean. I cleaned it before I dropped it off. It was cleaner when I gave it back than when I received it.

Pros: Fast, efficient, polite staff, clearly explained rental conditions, specifically asked that I do a thorough check of the vehicle prior to our rental and report any missed damages, did not insist on selling extra services that I specifically declined. Additionally, they provided complementary beach gear that other tourists left behind.

I have read different negative reviews regarding additional cost for The car cleaning and that IT takes up to 10 days for The deposit to get freed and that If You play with debit card there is an additional cost. Please don't give bad reviews because You don't read well The rental conditions. All of those things are clearly and transparent stated on The rental site.

After being attended to, it was relatively quick. The WORST thing was that the car was dirty on the outside and inside, as well as the bad smell. The window cleaner tank ran out of water after 3 days of rental.

Cons: I was bemused to pay an additional charge of 10 euros (cash) for cleaning the car. Usually the cleaning is included within the contract.

After hours of connection flights carrying all your luggage you would except that the instructions are clear and you don't need to ask from other rental kiosks where can I find the Felirent kiosk. Not a big issue but should be easy to fix;)

Cons: They didn't accept our credit card, and tried to charge us 25€ pr day for the whole rental. We refused and found another rental place in the airport where it was no problem to accept our card. Should have been more clear on booking page for sure.

They also pretended to close before my arrival and I was with my girlfriend who is 6 months pregnant and I told them about it

Pros: The method of payment weren't explained very well, I had to pay 25€ per day extra because I paid with a debit card and not a credit card: it wasn't written anywhere (anywhere easy to find out at least) that with a debit card I would have had extras to pay

Pros: Friendly and professional staff, who all spoke very good English. Collecting the car and returning it were both straight forward and took very little time. The rental documents were emailed to me and were also in English so easy to understand. All round great service.

Cons: Maybe it has just opened but it wasn’t easy to find, not very recognisable. Staff needed to turn on a generator to get the lights on, wry poor internet connection so forms were filled out manually to speed things up.
