First Rent
First Rent is a car rental company operating in one of Europe’s most beloved travel destinations that is the nation of Portugal. It is a completely different company than the First Car Rental of South Africa. In the country, the company serves its capital, Lisbon, as well as the charming northern city of Porto, having a presence in the respective international airports of both cities.
At both Lisbon Airport and Porto Airport, the company operates a meet-and-greet service whereby a company employee will be waiting for you upon arrival. You’ll need to give the company your flight information either when booking or at a later time but before the day you will pick up the car. The company doesn’t have a rental desk in the airports, but instead, the employee will take you to the car.
First Rent allows its cars to be taken to neighboring Spain for an additional fee. The car must be returned to Portugal at the end of the rental, though.
