Fox Autorent
Fox is an independent Hungarian car rental company serving the landlocked and beautiful European countries of Hungary and neighboring Austria. Fox began in 1988 and has been offering car rental services in Hungary ever since. The company expanded to Vienna in 2010.
The company has both offices in downtown Budapest and at Budapest Airport. And the same with Austria, it has an office in the center of Vienna and at Vienna Airport.
Fox is highly rated by our customers. In 2024, it won our Excellent Car Rental Service Award in all of its main locations. It won for all but one in 2023. We give this award to the suppliers in each location with the highest customer ratings. The company allows its cars (taken from either country) to travel to other countries if the customer seeks prior permission and pays an additional fee. So you can travel to Slovakia, Czechia, Romania, and other countries in the region.
