Cons: They take care of you from the moment you step out side the airport, by sending you pictures where you want to go to be picked up by a shuttle, to take you to pick up your car.

Cons: We where changed over 170Euro more than we should and the pickup took over 3 hours

Pros: Smooth and easy. We arrived quite late due to flight delayed but the lady was quick to process. Thanks. The man at drop off also quick and friendly.

Cons: The car had a dent in the back and the truck button was hard to use. But this seemed familiar to the staff so no hustle when drop off. Quite a walk to shuttle from BGY when you are with a number of luggages but overall ok. Deposit was €1200, previous place in Rome was €700.

Cons: I gave 8/10 because of the trunk problem. The plate covering the spare wheel was from a different car and didn't fit, therefore this created me a little bit of a problem with the space inside the trunk :(

Cons: The receptionist was unhelpful. I had a screaming toddler and little boy with me. I was charged an additional €170 for being just over an hour late due to a flight delay because of the air traffic control being down due to technical issues. I tried to contact switch board ahead of time but no answer. Did not accept cover I had added on to previous car so had to pay excess waiver again. Would NOT recommend at all.

Cons: Another place then all other rental cars so we went to wrong parking. We heard three more calls to their office while we were there. Flight was late and together with wrong parking we needed to pay 30-40% more then original price and it took approximately 20 minutes to get the car. Only one person working so check out took 30 min. We also heard another person renting the car that he needed to rent it “again” but with their prices. Bargain!

Pros: I always find the young lady, Subita, who works at the Bergamo office a delight. She goes out of her way to help, is friendly and polite, despite often being overwhelmed by the number of rentals. Top class service as are the cars.

Pros: When I took the car, I made a video in which I recorded all the problems on the car, all the scratches, chips on the glass. When I returned to the car, a company employee purposefully went to a certain place in the car. . Shows me a kidney on the glass and says that this didn’t happen. And the glass needs replacement. It will cost 700 €. I say, I made a video before I took the car. He asked to see it. He was shown a video, His face changed dramatically. I understand that he knew about it.

Cons: I don't understand why the rental agents still tried to "sell" me their insurance options when I've clearly taken the full cover with Discover Cars when booking the car. It would be a much more comfortable experience if Discover Cars instructed the actual rental company not to "bully" customers into buying something they've already purchased via Discover Cars. Such tactics are common place and devalue the Full Cover offered by Discover Cars.

Pros: Although car rental was not inside the airport, instruction were given very accurately. Since we have to take the shuttle to rental place, car pick up will take considerable amount of time

Cons: The male staff was not welcoming, made us wait for more than 1 hour to assist us even though we were tired and he talked so rudely that we decided to not proceed with the rental and then we had to go again to Bergamo airport and find another last minute car rental which costed us more than 700 euros. All these things were very stressful & costly for me upon my arrival in Bergamo Italy. Therefore, I would be grateful if the refund of the approximate 68 euros could be refunded to me ASAP. Thanks.

Cons: Slightly inflexible in a few areas - huge quote for an extra couple of days; forced to pay extra for chains; unwilling to use different card for payment (over the credit card needed for the deposit).

Cons: Snow chains was not part of the rental and I have to pay 5Eur per day for it. I had no idea, that snow chains are mandatory - there was no warning, otherwise I would choose another company. Problem with shuttle - long waiting time despite the fact that we indicated the flight number. Another problem was with number of seats in shuttle, it was an 8-seater shuttle, but 9 people were waiting for it. So 4 people sat on three seats, which was uncomfortable. The car did not have air condition.

Cons: The owner of garbaldi rental was very rude; didn't explain much; the contract wasn't in English.He told me last minute I had to return the car a day before as they close at 22. The shuttle bus driver didn't leave me at the airport, I had to walk around 7 min.

Poi dovendo andare in montagna sono costretto a pagare il noleggio delle catene, ovviamente di qualità pessima , nonostante io le so montare tranquillamente queste mi si sono rotte in mano durante il montaggio… senza parole

Cons: The shuttle service isn't great, drop the car early as the shuttle might be late and you risk missing your flight. And you can't get a taxi from where you drop the car.

Cons: Representative was friendly but not very helpful when we had an issue after an accident. And would not help when asked to retuen the car at a different location.

Pros: 1. The man from the front desk was very helpful and nice. We got the highway assistance for free. 2. Good and fast transfer from and to the Bergamo airport. 3. Our car was almost new and very clean.

Pros: Because of our predicament, using third party booking was a pain. Never use third party agents again. The lady at the desk was very helpful and manage to help us get a car to drive. We have blind person with us so travelling around without a car wouldn’t be easy.

Cons: Shuttle took far too long to collect us from the airport; car was parked a distance away and had to wait 10 minutes in the scorching heat for the assistant to bring the car; a bit too insistent in wanting to sell you their insurance policy despite declaring a few times I had one already; not informing customers that car has the option of LPG much cleaner and cheaper fuel.

Cons: 1. Lancia Ypsilon - economy (?), not mini 2. 10-15 min drive from airport 3. You have to search scratches on the car by yourself, no info about previous damage provided 4. No drop off possibilities, working only from 8am to 7 pm. Other wise +62eur. Had to return car a day before 5. Old and loud transfer bus 6. Extremely big franchise 7. Car has no extras at all, like no electric windows in the back, shitty mechanical condition 8. No windows washing fluid.

Cons: They couldn't complete our contract with DiscoveryCars and we had to pay an extra insurance (421,38 euro) otherwise we couldn't rent the car and the shop was about to close. We told we didn't want an extra insurance because we were fully covered. We want to recieve a credit note for the difference (265 euro) of the contract price and price at the shop! Even the rentalcar they gave us without the contract of DiscoverCars, wasn't ready. Empty fuel tank, chewing gum on the floor, .....

Cons: On returning car there was only 1 rep booking out & checking in cars. There was a fairly long queue fir people waiting to get cars. We were waiting almost an hour for car to be checked. Not very efficient process if catching flight. Maybe extra staff would be useful for busy periods. This let our overall score down. If check out had been as efficient as collection we would have scored them 8/9

Pros: The original price that we were quoted and expecting when we landed.

Cons: None of the shuttles would take us to the rental. I called the company and they cancelled my booking with no notice. We were 15min late as the shuttles were all full. They tried to rebook us a new car for €900+, instead of the agreed price of €375. Absolute criminals. Had to take a car from the stand from europcar for €1065 as I was not giving Galdierirent a cent of my money.

Cons: It was supposed to be an airport rental and we drove 30 miles from the airport. The plane was delayed and the company said that we lost our deposit and the car we had chosen was not available. We ended paying twice as much as we had booked for a much smaller car. What more? They are nothing less than crooks

Cons: my reservation is in the name of Paola Serao as main driver but the Galdieri rent company forced me to pay the second driver because your booking confirmation was missing. I had the printed confirmation but they insisted there was no communication from you and I was forced to pay for a second driver. Who will have to reimburse me?

Pros: Good Whatsup communication at office hours. Efficient and simple drop off. Very good car.

Cons: Long delay for pickup shuttle. Attemt to sell us extra insurence. Difficult to contact on the road if you don't have a phone line (didn't acttualy have to)

Pros: Clean and proper car although very tiny.

Cons: Had choosen a Citroën C3 that have grown into VW Golf size with the latest models but we ended up with a Lancia Ypsilon (Fiat 500 size). Unless we would pay close to 260Euro for a pretty unclear insurance, seems like there is something strange with insurances in Italy, had already paid for 2 insurances when booking, this should be made clearer to consumers/less complicated) then she would upgrade us to a more C3-sized car. I said no to that offer. The Lancia was though and almost brand new.

Pros: I turned up and they said they had given my car away. I had to change flight to a later time but I didn’t think I would need to change my car booking. When I pay for something I expect to get it. Not be told there is some small print they can give it away and still charge me. I turned up with my wife and kids and found I had no car and had to spend 7x the amount renting a new one. I would like a refund. I paid money to rent a car. I expect it to be there on that day when I get it.
