Pros: The staff at both pick-up and drop-off were very friendly and welcoming.

Cons: There is no drop-off locker for the keys, so you have to wait until the office opens at 8:00 AM. Additionally, the rental location is not at the airport but a 10-minute walk away. This should be made clearer during the booking process.

Cons: Was charged €25 as flight delayed 1 hour. Given keys and had to walk down a derelict street to find the car in a compound, told to take pictures of the varied damage and whatsapp the video to them, would not note on any paperwork.

Then you have to walk to another location to pick up your car without any assistance. Then at check-in , agent forgot to mention that we need to take picture of mileage and Fuel meter for check-out and other info. so, we had to walk back to parking lot again, take picture and check-out. Because of lack of info provided we had to pay extra 35 euro

Fuel tank was not full at pick up (contrary to what was stated in the contract) but there was no problem to adjust, so we could drop off the car at 3/4 full tank (they have a strange preference to amend the contract via Whatsapp message rather than email or contract adjustment, but they respect their words).

Cons: Car was badly damaged, the proximity sensor was faulty due to damage to the vehicle and the car windscreen was very dirty on the inside.

Pros: The vehicle was very reasonable price. The car was new, clean and tidy. However, we would recommend that you photograph and video the car before driving away. We were told there was no damage to our car but we found some scratches and a dent (in the bumper) which was only apparent with a good inspection. Also the fuel was not full when we took the car. Just things to note but the overall the car was good, the service was very good and the price was very good.

Ook hadden wij een fiat 500x gehuurd en die bleek niet eens in het assortiment te zitten (kregen wij te horen bij aankomst) maar staat wel op de site. De vriendelijkheid is ver te zoeken bij aankomst. De autostoel die wij extra gehuurd hadden bleek niet goed te passen in de auto en hulp krijg je niet kosten ca 110 euro.

Cons: Dumb fees for everything, you don’t have an international driving license? Even if your driving license is in English, no worries 30euros is even better. Also we won’t make it clear at the time of booking that you need and international driving license (I’m sure it’s written somewhere in T&C but really who reads all of it)

Then by the address which I found in discover cars I was redirected nowhere, so I had to google the address. Pick up rules are not very clear. It is mentioned that the car will be reserved for "some time", that time period is not clear, apparently it is one hour. We were late for more than one hour so it was difficult to get another car and the lady working there was very impolite.

Pros: Plane was late. No way to contact agency. They did not pick up phone. so missed the 1 hour window. Had to go to other company.

It took an hour for us to collect the car with only 3 other people in front of us also collecting cars so our onward journey was delayed. Also we had paid for insurance through Discover Cars but on collection we were told that further insurance should be taken out (369,euros extra)as we would have to pay upfront fir damage and claim it back later. Did not do so but some people may have been taken in by this.

Pros: The staff at Galdieri were excellent, efficient and friendly, particularly the girl who took the car back from us on April 17th. It was my second rental with this company and I will certainly rent from this company, also the office is close to the motorway.

Pros: The car drop off was made easy thanks to Dario, who went above and beyond to come out of office to check the car quickly and sign off papers. He also dropped us off at the airport and parked the car himself back to parking area( which is distant from office). Car was clean and the model expected.

Cons: They only have 2 desks, meaning if one is busy you have to wait for ages, they don’t have a person at the parking to check/help finding the car. One downside: the parking is not near the office but on another road which makes it difficult to find the car.

Cons: We were running 50 mins late for our pickup as the airline had lost our luggage and galdieri used it as an excuse to rip us off. They said they had to cancel our original reservation as we were late then quoted me a new price for the same car that was 2.5x higher. They included full daily insurance and refused to take it out even though I already had insurance. They showed zero sympathy despite the fact that our luggage was lost and we're just looking to exploit the situation.

Cons: they provided me a broken car (gear box problems). The car was not able to go backward while on a ramp. I discovered the problem only on the Amalfy Coast the hard way. As I had an insurance bought through DiscoverCars, they refused any Road Assistance. Somehow, I returned the car and they changed it with a decent one, but it cost me the a day of my vacation. The cars were all dirty (windshield). They rent the cars as "perfect, no scratches", in their version on the contract !!!

There was very little empathy from Galdieri Rent even though id walked 1.5 km because of their mistake. To top this and because of the stress and confusion trying to get the correct keys I also ended up loosing my wallet.

This meant the holiday was shortered and it was a massive rush to get the car back and then to the airport. Therefore i didnt have time to fill the tank, i had only done 100km in the car and i was charged £60 which is completely unreasonable. I was told i would recieve an email but i still haven't. Not good service in a situation like that, i would be grateful for some money returned.

Pros: When I picked the car the tank wasn't full. I took a picture and sent it to the agency. When I came back I filled the tank to full since the dial of the fuel did not move. So I got a half full tank and returned a full tank. The GaldieriRent agency say they will not refund the money. also when I picked the car I added 100 euros for full cover insurance, however when I had a flat tire I called the agency but they said it is not covered. I'm still waiting for them to check if I can get a refund
