Pros: Pickup was pretty simple. The agents were friendly and knowledgeable, and we were in and out quickly.
Cons: Drop off was a nightmare. We had a miserable time trying to find the office in Zagreb and were unable to get anyone there to answer the phone. It was a stressful couple of hours.
Pros: Price for base use as per quote.
Cons: Agent shouldn’t ask if you want extra insurance when you already have comprehensive. Prices for going into other countries or on ferries should be clearly stated up front
Cons: They tried to scam me in every possible way. First the guy at Garage Nr1 in Dubrovnik tried to charge me €100 extra for “cross border charge” if I wanted to take the car to Montenegro. Another rental company right beside this shop, didn’t charge anything extra when I asked them. Upon returning my car at the Garage NR1 location in Split, they found some scratches on one of the rims and blamed it on me. They hadn’t indicated this scratch on the pre inspection so they made me pay €375 for it….
Pros: Nothing
Cons: I rented a car from Dubrovnik to Split and it was the worst experience I’ve ever had in my life. Car rental pickup was closing before my pickup time and the office was a shack inside a mall. The agent tried to upcharge us on everything (€80 extra for “Bosnia” travel) which was a complete scam as it was not required. On drop off in Split, it was inside a dingy car wash where they pointed out a spec under the front bumper and charged €500 for the repairs and delayed me so much that I had to pay to
Pros: Very nice staff. Explained features and gave instructions thoroughly.
Rental Conditions

A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 23.
Maximum rental age is 80 years.
A senior driver fee applies to drivers over the age of 71.
The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 1 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.
In order to pick up the car, the following documents are required: passport, valid driver license, credit card on a main drivers name, booking voucher.
Cross border rentals are allowed only upon previous request.
Crossing country borders is allowed to the following countries: Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Monaco, Montenegro, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain-Mainland, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom, San Marino.
Additional charges will be applied in case the car is crossing state or region borders.
Information on the exact fee amount is available by request. In the event that Cross Border & Territorial Restrictions are violated, all protections lose their validity.

Adding additional drivers is allowed.
There is an additional charge for each driver.
Underage additional drivers are subject to both Young Driver and Additional Driver fees.
When picking up the vehicle, all drivers must be present and must provide valid documentation.
Certain additional drivers are subject to both an Additional Driver fee as well as either a Young Driver or Senior Driver fee.
Delivery/Collection service is available only by previous request.
Delivery/Collection service is available within city limits. Additional charges will be applied, depending on the distance.
Period of time, during regular working hours, when the car is still guaranteed for the customer, if the customer is late for pick up (the grace period) is 60 minutes.
If the customer is late for a return for more than 59 minutes, extra day charges will apply, in addition to any other rental charges.
