Cons: They let me sign a contract for a brand new car without scratches, but at the moment of receiving the car , the car was full of scratches and I had to spend about one hour to get a new contract with all the additional scratches. Cons: A little complicated collection process with 2 terminal points to sign contract and collect keys. Then had to retur a 3rd time to identify scratches not recorded in the report. Not a biggi but wee constructive feedback. I will still choose goldcar in the future and really love the ease of your self check in option

The Company shall not refund any sum paid and assumes no responsibility if the car rental provider refuses to provide the car to a Renter in any of the following circumstances: 66.1. no-show; 66.2. showing up late;

Pros: We didn’t even get the car as we didn’t have the correct credit card and they refused to accept anything else. (Despite it NOT saying that Amex wasn’t accepted) Called discover cars to ask them to switch name and they refused. Just completely unhelpful at all stages.

Cons: Goldcar was not reachable under the telephone number provided by you. We arrived late due to a flight delay but couldn’t change the booking. When we come a day late to pick up the car Goldcar said the booked car was not available anymore. We had to get a bigger one for a much higher price..

The location of the pick up was not clearly explained causing delay and stress and for some unknown reason I have not been refunded the full deposit, all my paperwork is in Spanish and my signature has ended up on a form that I didn’t read. When I took the car back a non English speaking guy walked round the car took the key off me, gave me the thumbs up and presented me with an iPad to sign

Finally got up to car park and every car they tried to give us were damaged (there were about 15 to choose from so plenty available!!).. loads of dents, scratches etc. then finally pulled away and car had no petrol (should have had full tank). Had to drive back and get yet another car. Very very time consuming and it was then dark!

Cons: The way car hire price is portrayed, yet it goes up 150% for the scam 'insurance' when at the counter. There are no legitimate car insurers who do this, just the rental companies. I know this because I have a rental car company in the UK. As from Monday I will put a 150% surcharge on for ANY Spanish tourists. I refused the car.

Pros: The car was very clean but had a number of dig dents in it and in my opinion it shouldn't be rented out in it's current condition. I told the man when I picked the vehicle up to be told "its Ibiza". This is not the case as I lived in Ibiza for many years. When I dropped the vehicle off there was no one there so I had to walk all the way to the other end of the airport to the desk to find someone. I wont be using Discover or Goldcar again

Pros: The service was terrible , I have been overcharged and not refunded deposits . There was nobody to inspect my car before or after drop off . The rear wind screen wiper was broken when I picked up the car - now they have charged me . I have photographic proof of this fradulant scam .

Cons: The initial price is attractive, but in the end they find a random, barely visible scratch , that was there before taking the car, and they deduct 3 times the renting price. They do this with everybody at the drop off. It’s a criminal organisation !!

Pros: In the end Goldcars arranged another car for me, last minute, everything else was booked, also with other agencies, and my late booking cost me more than double of the inital rental cost.
