Golfauto is a car rental company operating in the beautiful Iberian country of Portugal in the southwestern corner of Europe. More specifically, it serves the country’s capital, Lisbon, as well as the large southern city of Faro which is the capital of the Algarve region. It will deliver a vehicle to your hotel in either of those destinations.
The company is very well-rated by the customers of DiscoverCars.com. In fact, it won our Excellent Car Rental Service Award for both 2023 and 2024 for Faro Airport and Lisbon Airport, two locations with stiff competition for it.
Golfauto has been offering car rental services in the Algarve and Lisbon for over 30 years. Though it only has the two main offices, it has over 200 vehicles in total.
Golfauto doesn’t allow its vehicles to be taken to neighboring Spain. It also doesn’t accept debit cards — you’ll have to have a credit card to leave the security deposit when picking up the car.
