Cons: delay in picking up the car as the original car I booked was not available due to damage. could have done with a more orientation to this car which I was not familiar with. car windscreen could have been cleaned better.

Cons: while making the booking we requested for a child seat and had already paid for it but upon pick up we noticed that it was not there so we had to wait for quite a bit.

Pros: The car was good, the pick up was ok, but there was no communication between Go Rentals and Discover Cars.com and the man at the desk refused to look at the Discover voucher which showed I had paid the insurance and a deposit. so had to pay again. Would not use Discover again.

Cons: The problem did not lie with Go, the issue was with Discover Cars.Com who I used to book with. They did not pass on the information to Go, they kept my deposit and the money paid for full insurance and I had to pay for this again because Go would not accept the voucher so I lost $280.00. No communication between the 2 companies which was very frustrating

Cons: Was told the car seat was in and ready however it was not strapped in properly and the strap over the back wasn’t even connected. Worth double checking if you have a baby.

Pros: Easy to book to car and I was given my choice of car which is really important to me. The car still had the new car smell when we hired it. The car was pretty dirty after 15 days and it is not required to wash the car before returning it.

Pros: Speed of pick up and drop off. Airport location was key, travelling solo with a baby.

Pros: The staff at pick up were amazing! Very friendly, a warm welcome. Easy to access main office, quick process to pick up car.

Cons: The drop off was a terrible experience. The car had a chipped front window which turned into a crack along the entire front windscreen. Upon drop off, the staff member was very rude (we assumed she was having a bad day, the weather was pretty cold too). We explained the issue and she responded very ignorantly, saying it was our fault if we picked up on the dint after pick up. Thankfully, I zoomed into the initial photos, which clearly showed the damage.

Pros: GO has a mobile phone app which is very useful. I can pre check-in while I was not even in the city which I picked up the rental. After I landed and collected my baggages, I used the app to order the shuttle, it turned up when I walked to the shuttle stop outside the terminal. As I have checked in with the app, I did not have to wait at the rental office, I was given the car key and off I went.

Pros: Go rentals was very affordable given the time of year and being peak season

Cons: Very efficient service and ease of transport to and from the rental place. The only thing I had an issue with was we took out no excess insurance on the car and when getting to go rentals I was told that because we booked through a third party website, if anything happened with the car accident wise then the claim would have to be made through the third party and I would have to pay the excess and then get refunded by the third party. Very convoluted and misleading.

Cons: It would have been helpful to have some clear instruction on the workings of the car. For example, engaging the clutch to start the car, the car window lock, increasing the size of the boot space.

Pros: The drivers who picked me up and dropped me off at the airport were very friendly, as well as the Go Rental representative taking care of me when I dropped off the car at the end of the rental

Cons: The representative handling me picking up the car was not very empathetic, even though I very clearly expressed my unhappiness with being forced to have my EU driver's license translated (which both my car hires in Auckland didn't require) and blocking my credit card with $3000 because I didn't purchase additional insurance coverage (which the other car hires in Auckland, Brisbane & Gold Coast also didn't do)

Pros: Swift and efficient

Cons: We had to drop off the car little after 7am, the office was not open. This meant we had no drop off shuttle to the airport. Although the airport was nearby it wasn't very convenient to be lugging around baggage and walk.
