Office is in the rental car building of Dunedin Airport. Once you have your luggage, exit the main terminal doors directly in front of the Info desk. Once outside, turn left and follow the foot path to the rental car buiding. Inside you will see the GO Rentals Counter on your right. If you would like to fast track your vehicle collection, please complete web check-in https://www.gorentals.co.nz/online-check-in/ or download the GO Rentals App and complete the check-in there https://www.gorentals.co.nz/app" After hour pick up instructions: "You must have completed your check-in process at least 24 hours prior to your arrival. https://www.gorentals.co.nz/online-check-in/ or https://www.gorentals.co.nz/app  Make your way to the GO Rentals desk and collect your key from the lock box with your number and code which has been emailed. Walk out of the terminal and turn left towards the rental car’s carpark. The vehicle will be parked in the GO Rentals Reserved area.  "

Pros: Go rentals was fine. Discover Cars fee of $70+ is a rip iff

Cons: It's Discover cars I have the issue with, charging a $74 + fee then all they do is link me thru to Go rentals which I could've done myself. Tried numerous times to contact Discover cars with no luck, no response to my automated msg and could not find a contact phone number to talk to anyone. I'll go direct to the car hire business in the future

Free cancellation with a full refund up to 48 hours before your pick-up time, Unlimited mileage, First additional driver, Collision Damage Waiver (deductible: ~€ 2195.00), Theft Protection, Third Party Liability (TPL), Airport surcharge, Road tax, Free modifications, State Tax.
Rate excludes
The following surcharges may apply: Toll pass / E-toll device.
An E-Toll is offered in order to avoid violation fees.
E-Toll/Sunpass activation fee is 3.00 NZD per day.
The following insurance type(s):Roadside Assistance is(are) not included.
Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 21 years.
A Young driver fee is not applied.

There is no maximum age.
A Senior driver fee is not applied.

The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 1 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.

In addition to the regular driver license, an International Driving Permit is also mandatory if the national driver license is not written in English.
Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if accompanied by the regular driver license.

In addition to documents mentioned previously, the customer will need the following: passport, valid driver license, credit card on a main drivers name, booking voucher, flight information.
Deposit and deductible policy
A deposit will be blocked on the customer's credit card and will be released within 30 days after drop-off.
Payment policy
At time of pick up, customers will be required to pay the amount of the rental and a deposit.
It is possible to pay and leave the deposit only with the following payment methods: Diners, MasterCard credit card, VISA credit card, American Express credit card.
An administration charge of 2-4 % will apply for payments made by credit card.

Debit cards is/are not accepted.

The main driver must provide a physical payment card in their name with enough funds to cover the deposit to pick up the car. The rental company will neither accept virtual credit cards (e.g., GooglePay or ApplePay) nor someone else’s card (including family members).
Optional extras and services
Available special equipment: Child seat (2-4 years of age), Booster seat (4-10 years of age), Snow chains.
Prices for extras are shown on the booking page.

When picking up the vehicle, all drivers must be present and must provide valid documentation.

Fuel policy
The vehicle is provided with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid additional charges.
Rental period
The maximum rental period is without limitations.
Business hours
Service outside of business hours is available by request and for an additional charge.
Period of time, during regular working hours, when the car is still guaranteed for the customer, if the customer is late for pick up (the grace period) is 1440 minutes.
If the customer is late for a return for more than 60 minutes, extra day charges will apply, in addition to any other rental charges.
