Green Motion Tirana airport is located just outside the terminal. To reach our rental station, exit the airport terminal. Turn right and walk for 30 meters until you reach the end of the fence. Cross the road at the end of the fence. The Green Motion office is situated directly opposite the terminal, next to Hotel Jurgen.

Cons: 30 day waiting before de-blocking the reserved amount on the credit card. High penalty if they detect by gps tracker if you were driving on non-asphalt roads. Almost new car from higher class, but no navigation available and no cruise control.

Pros: Clarity and service provided was flawless. Calls where picked up easily and clearly.

Cons: The adress or way to find the drop of point at Sarandë harbour was quite unclear. The explaination was clear tho especially after I called, but the streets where a bit crowded and parking and checking the car for any damage was hard to do at that location. However drop off and all that went very fast and efficient. So it is understandable that there has been made a trade-off between conflicting important interests

Pros: Very friendly staff who made the car pick up and drop-off easy and pleasant. Another important point that really made me feel that Green Motion is a credible and reliable company is their honesty in recording previous damage on the car. There was a scratch on the rear bumper that was not visible in the picture taken by the camera. However, when the agent went back to the car history, he found that it was already there and mentioned it to me that this scratch was already there.

Cons: There is nothing to mention here because everything went very smoothly and the staff were very friendly. I would definitely recommend them and I will use them again when I go back.

Free cancellation with a full refund up to 48 hours before your pick-up time, Unlimited mileage, Collision Damage Waiver (deductible: € 500.00), Theft Protection, Roadside Assistance (in the country of pick-up), Third Party Liability (TPL), Airport surcharge, Free modifications, State Tax.
Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 21 years.
A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 26.

Maximum rental age is 75 years.
A senior driver fee applies to drivers over the age of 70.

The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 2 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.

In addition to the regular driver license, an International Driving Permit is also mandatory if the driver license is written in a language other than that of the renting country and/or in characters that cannot be read in the renting country. The driver license must be written in Latin, English, Cyrillic alphabet.

In addition to documents mentioned previously, the customer will need the following: passport, valid driver license, ID card, credit card on a main drivers name, booking voucher, photocard driving license.
Deposit and deductible policy

A deposit will be blocked on the customer's credit card and will be released within 30 days after drop-off.
Deductible/excess will be charged per damage.
Payment policy
At time of pick up, customers will be required to pay the amount of the rental and a deposit.
The following credit cards issued on the main driver's name are accepted: MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Maestro credit card.

The main driver must provide a physical payment card in their name with enough funds to cover the deposit to pick up the car. The rental company will neither accept virtual credit cards (e.g., GooglePay or ApplePay) nor someone else’s card (including family members).
Cross-border policy
Cross border rentals are allowed only upon previous request.
Additional charges will be applied in case the car is crossing state or region borders.

Crossing country borders is allowed to the following countries: Greece, Kosovo, North Macedonia, Montenegro.
In the event that Cross Border & Territorial Restrictions are violated, all protections lose their validity.
Optional extras and services
Available special equipment: Baby seat (up to 1 year of age), Child seat (2-4 years of age), Snow chains.
Prices for extras are shown on the booking page.

Adding additional drivers is allowed.
There is an additional charge for each driver.
Underage additional drivers are subject to both Young Driver and Additional Driver fees.
When picking up the vehicle, all drivers must be present and must provide valid documentation.

Fuel policy
The vehicle is provided with a certain amount of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid additional charges.
Additional information
Winter tires are not mandatory in Albania. Snow chains are allowed in icy/snowy conditions.
Business hours
Service outside of business hours is available by request and for an additional charge.
Period of time, during regular working hours, when the car is still guaranteed for the customer, if the customer is late for pick up (the grace period) is 60 minutes.
