Our rental location is based only a few minutes from Fiumicino Airport and we provide a free shuttle service for your convenience. When collecting your baggage, call or message/WhatsApp the telephone number on your booking voucher (+39 3278564671) to request the shuttle service. Follow "Departures" signs and go to the 1st floor. If you are in Terminal 1, exit the airport from door 4 and cross the street positioning yourself on the sidewalk of the outside lane. If you are in Terminal 3, exit the airport from door 3 and cross the street positioning yourself on the sidewalk of the outside lane. The Green Motion shuttle bus will pick you up and take you to your car hire vehicle.

Pros: Would definitely rent from Green Motion again. They were courteous, asked but didn't push us at all to get their additional insurance, were quick in picking us up and dropping off. We had also rented a car another time within the terminal and if the two options would choose the shuttle service and this company again. It took too much time to find the car in the terminal and drag our suitcases and the lineup was over 1/2 hour wait. So highly recommend green motion.

Pros: DON’T USE THIS COMPANY!!! They stole from us. When we returned the car, the inspection went fine. A couple of hours later we received an email saying that they will charge us almost $900 euros for a damage in the lock that did not exist. We read the reviews (we should have dinner this before) and they did the same thing to other customers as well.

Cons: The insurance was confusing. We purchased the extra insurance but my understanding if anything happened we would have had to pay and collect from DiscoverCars. I believe it would have been better and cheaper to but the extra insurance directly from GreenMotion when we picked up the car.

Pros: The rental desk personnel were friendly and helpful in processing our vehicle rental.

Cons: After landing at Rome airport, it was difficult to locate the area designated for pick up to go to the car rental office since it is located outside the airport. We had to call the local office for help. where to go for pick up. Upon returning the vehicle, we found the office was closed yet it was after 9AM. Thankfully, the van driver responsible for taking us back to the airport terminal was helpful in where to park and leave our vehicle and where to deposit our car keys.

Pros: Car was clean, new and agent came to pick us up at the airport quickly and easily

Cons: Attempts to up sell additional insurance was quite intense, even after explaining that I bought insurance and I also have car insurance with my visa. This made picking up the car quite delayed. Also, there was no one there when we returned the car, we found a mailbox (without explanation) and dropped off keys. Thank goodness another car rental place in the same lot drive us to the airport

Pros: The only negative for me was the $1000 USD pre-auth on my credit card if I didn't buy the $200 USD insurance package through them. Maybe that was in the fine print when I reserved the car but I don't remember, and my reservation did include insurance but that didn't seem to matter to the rep. That just felt a bit odd to me.

Pros: They pick you up in front of the terminal and drive about 8 minutes to lot. Office is bare bones. Who cares you can't drive it or sleep there, it keeps costs down. Car was a very nice Kia sportage, seemed brand new, ran fine as a plus it was diesel so lower fuel bill. On the way back opened google maps and GPS'd right back to lot and was then driven back to my hotel at airport

Rate includes
Free cancellation with a full refund up to 48 hours before your pick-up time, Unlimited mileage, Collision Damage Waiver (deductible: € 1500.00), Theft Protection, Roadside Assistance (in the country of pick-up), Third Party Liability (TPL), Airport surcharge, Road tax, Free modifications, State Tax.
Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 27 years.
A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 25.

Maximum rental age is 80 years.
A senior driver fee applies to drivers over the age of 76.

The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 2 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.

In addition to the regular driver license, an International Driving Permit is also mandatory if the customer is not a resident of the following country(ies): United Kingdom, EU.
A driver license printed using a non-Roman alphabet (Arabic, Japanese, Cyrillic, etc) must be supplemented by an International Driving Permit.
Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if accompanied by the regular driver license.

In addition to documents mentioned previously, the customer will need the following: valid driver license, credit card on a main drivers name, Passport or ID card, booking voucher, proof of home address (e.g. Utility bill).
Deposit and deductible policy
A deposit will be blocked on the customer's credit card and will be released within 30 days after drop-off.
The exact deposit is determined on pick up since the amount is dependent on the type of vehicle.
Payment policy
It is possible to pay and leave the deposit only with the following payment methods: MasterCard credit card, VISA credit card.

Cash is accepted as a form of payment.
When paying with cash, a debit/credit card issued on the main driver's name is required for security purposes.
For the Intermediate, Minivan car group, a minimum of two credit cards issued on the main driver's name are required.

The main driver must provide a physical payment card in their name with enough funds to cover the deposit to pick up the car. The rental company will neither accept virtual credit cards (e.g., GooglePay or ApplePay) nor someone else’s card (including family members).
Optional extras and services
Available special equipment: Child seat (2-4 years of age), Booster seat (4-10 years of age), Snow chains.
Prices for extras are shown on the booking page.

Adding additional drivers is allowed.
There is an additional charge for each driver.
Underage additional drivers are subject to both Young Driver and Additional Driver fees.
When picking up the vehicle, all drivers must be present and must provide valid documentation.

Delivery/Collection service is available only by previous request.
Additional charges will be applied.
Fuel policy
The vehicle is provided with a certain amount of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid additional charges.
Additional information
By law, winter tires are mandatory on all roads from 15.10 to 15.04 in the following regions: Aoasta-Valley. Snow chains are recommended in icy/snowy conditions, especially when traveling in mountainous areas.

Period of time, during regular working hours, when the car is still guaranteed for the customer, if the customer is late for pick up (the grace period) is 150 minutes.
