Green Motion Liberia Airport is based outside the Terminal at Centro Comercial Seneca, Local #1, Route 21, Km 17; 5 minutes away from the Terminal. Once arrived and after luggage claim go thru customs and leave the building, there you will find an uniformed Green Motion Costa Rica host with a board (your name on it). Pros: The people were all very professional and very easy to work with.

Cons: The time to pick up the car was pretty long. We had 2 cars and it took over 45 minutes of paperwork before we could go. The agent was very nice, it just took a long time.

Cons: Great communication up to rental, easy to reach when my flight was delayed for hours and they held my car. Very thorough but efficient with pickup. Car was in excellent condition. Very nice off site location with comfortable and friendly shuttle.

Pros: The staff was friendly and knowledgeable & upfront about the requirements for driving in Costa Rica. They made me feel very comfortable and at ease!

Cons: When we were told we had a “meet & greet” at the airport to pick up the vehicle, I thought it meant that the rental office was located at the airport. However, even thought the “meet & greet” (the representative was lovely!) was at the airport, we still had to shuttle to the rental office. It was just a little deceiving with the wording but wasn’t a huge issue.

Cons: The GreenMotion agent offered a different insurance option which was a bit confusing as we were sure we had already paid for full coverage online and were not sure what the best option was.

Rental Conditions

Rate includes
Free cancellation with a full refund up to 48 hours before your pick-up time, Mileage: 750 km per rental, Collision Damage Waiver (deductible: ~€ 1900.00), Theft Protection, Roadside Assistance (in the country of pick-up), Third Party Liability (TPL), Premium Location fee, Vehicle registration fee, Free modifications, State Tax.
Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 21 years.
A Young driver fee is not applied.

Maximum rental age is 85 years.
A Senior driver fee is not applied.

The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 2 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.

The driver license must be written in Latin, English, Cyrillic alphabet.
In addition to the regular driver license, an International Driving Permit is also mandatory if the driver license is written in a language other than that of the renting country and/or in characters that cannot be read in the renting country.
UK customers must bring their DVLA check code along with their photo ID. This check code can be obtained from the DVLA website.

In addition to documents mentioned previously, the customer will need the following: passport, valid driver license, credit card on a main drivers name, booking voucher.
Deposit and deductible policy
A deposit will be blocked on the customer's credit card and will be released within 30 days after drop-off.
The exact deposit is determined on pick up since the amount is dependent on the type of vehicle.
Payment policy
At time of pick up, customers will be required to pay the amount of the rental and a deposit.
The following credit cards issued on the main driver's name are accepted: MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Diners. Any other cards or cash payments are not accepted.

The main driver must provide a physical payment card in their name with enough funds to cover the deposit to pick up the car. The rental company will neither accept virtual credit cards (e.g., GooglePay or ApplePay) nor someone else’s card (including family members).
Optional extras and services
Available special equipment: Baby seat (up to 1 year of age), Child seat (2-4 years of age), Booster seat (4-10 years of age), Wi-Fi.
Prices for extras are shown on the booking page.

Adding additional drivers is allowed.
There is an additional charge for each driver.
When picking up the vehicle, all drivers must be present and must provide valid documentation.

Delivery/collection service is not provided.
Fuel policy
The vehicle is provided with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid additional charges.
Business hours
Service outside of business hours is not available.
Period of time, during regular working hours, when the car is still guaranteed for the customer, if the customer is late for pick up (the grace period) is 59 minutes.
