Pick-up instructions
The Hertz counter is situated in the Arrivals Hall.
Due to the recent covid outbreak in Israel, effective immediately customers arriving from abroad presenting Entry Permit stating "mandatory quarantine " will be unable to pick up the car rental.
Car rental pick-ups will be available as per the following conditions:
1)14 days following arrival in Israel.
2)Present a completion of quarantine by the Health Ministry.
All Renters must comply with the regulations as required by the Israel's Ministry of Health and are updated regularly.

Pros: A nice clean well-maintained car.
Cons: Instructions sent by e-mail about where to pick up the car were not accurate. Cause some delays at the beginning of our trip. However, they were quickly remedied without to much hassle. Just some unnecessary confusion at the beginning of our trip.

Rate includes
Free cancellation with a full refund up to 48 hours before your pick-up time, Unlimited mileage, Collision Damage Waiver (deductible: ~€ 445.00), Theft Protection, Third Party Liability (TPL), Airport surcharge, Premium Location fee, Vehicle registration fee.
Mileage policy
Mileage is limited to 250 km per day.
For rentals more than 2 days mileage is unlimited.
There will be a surcharge for each additional 1km.

Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 18 years.
A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 23.
There is no maximum age.
A Senior driver fee is not applied.
The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 1 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.
For driver licenses from countries not party to the Geneva / Vienna Convention on Road Traffic (e.g., China), an official translation of the license in the following language(s): English, together with the original license, must be presented. For driver licenses from countries not party to the International Driving Permit treaty, an official translation of the license must be presented with the original license. A driver license printed using a non-Roman alphabet (Arabic, Japanese, Cyrillic, etc) must be supplemented by an International Driving Permit.
Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if accompanied by the regular driver license.

Deposit and deductible policy
A deposit will be blocked on the customer's credit card and will be released within 30 days after drop-off.
The exact deposit is determined on pick up since the amount is dependent on the type of vehicle.

At time of pick up, customers will be required to pay the amount of the rental and a deposit.
It is possible to leave the deposit only with following methods: Diners, MasterCard credit card, VISA credit card, American Express credit card.

Only cards issued in the main driver's name are accepted.
The main driver must provide a physical payment card in their name with enough funds to cover the deposit to pick up the car. The rental company will neither accept virtual credit cards (e.g., GooglePay or ApplePay) nor someone else’s card (including family members).

The vehicle is provided with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid additional charges.

Additional information
Israeli citizens, Israeli Passport holders also with dual nationality; and B2/B3/B4 non-tourist visa holders pay 17% VAT accordingly to law.
Rental period
The maximum rental period per agreement is 60 days.
If the renter would like to extend the rental period, renter should return to the car hire office at the end of the rental period to sign a new agreement.

Service outside of business hours is available by request and for an additional charge.
