Pros: Quick efficient and friendly
Cons: The car had false alarms. Should provide directions to car return.
Pros: Rented 2 vehicles during our month in Europe. One was a station wagon. Nice for 5. We needed room for 6 for second vehicle was a mini bus. Brand new. Easy to drive but way too pricey. Agent did not foreclose cost till he handed me ticket to show at pick up. My biggest concern is I have 3 charges on my credit card for 2 vehicles. The $294 hold turned into an actual charge on my visa that I will have bank dispute. My 2nd concern is agent said if we returned vehicle with fuel we would be refunded.
Cons: I would like the $294 hold returned to my visa account asap. I would like the fuel charge for both vehicles refunded to my mastercard.
Cons: Nobody to re-check the car, when we told them that there were scratches and damages on the day we collected the car, on the day we returned the car at the gate du midi in Brussels, there was no one to receive it , waited for 20 minutes, we had to go back to the entrance of the station, and give the keys to the desk there, nearly missed our train to Holland
Pros: Efficient pick up
Cons: Hertz have double billed me, I had a voucher from discovercar for full payment
Pros: Got a great car. The car we wanted to have was not ready: not cleaned and air was missing on one tire. So, they gave us a better car: The Nexus ! This was a great surprise :)
Cons: GPS doesn't work in combination with our Iphone. If you program your trip manually through the Lexus GPS screen, it becomes very annoying as the system is not very flexible...

Rental Conditions
Please check the Rental Conditions for each vehicle prior to booking as some conditions, particularly the deposit and deductible, may vary based on the class of vehicle.
A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 25.
There is no maximum age.
A Senior driver fee is not applied.
The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 1 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.
Driver licenses will be accepted if issued in the following country(ies): United Kingdom, EU countries.
Driver licenses from all other countries must be accompanied with International Driving Permit (IDP).
A driver license printed using a non-Roman alphabet (Arabic, Japanese, Cyrillic, etc) must be supplemented by an International Driving Permit.
Only physical driver's licenses are accepted (not digital versions).
Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if accompanied by the regular driver license.
In addition to documents mentioned previously, the customer will need the following: passport, valid driver license, credit card on a main drivers name, booking voucher.
The exact deposit is determined on pick up since the amount is dependent on the type of vehicle.
It is possible to pay and leave the deposit only with the following payment methods: MasterCard credit card, VISA credit card, American Express credit card.
The following payment methods are accepted: Eurocard, Visa Debit Card, MasterCard debit card, American Express Debit card.
Only cards issued in the main driver's name are accepted.
For the Luxury, Premium, Fullsize, Special car group, a minimum of two credit cards issued on the main driver's name are required.
Visa Electron, Maestro, Cash, Cheques, Prepaid cards is/are not accepted.
The main driver must provide a physical payment card in their name with enough funds to cover the deposit to pick up the car. The rental company will neither accept virtual credit cards (e.g., GooglePay or ApplePay) nor someone else’s card (including family members).
Additional charges will be applied in case the car is crossing state or region borders.
Crossing country borders is forbidden to the following countries: Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Denmark, Estonia, Georgia, Greece, Greece - Crete Island, Hungary, Iceland, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Lithuania, North Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Spain - Balearic Islands, Spain-Canary Islands, Spain-Mainland, Turkey, Ukraine, United Kingdom, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan.

In the event that Cross Border & Territorial Restrictions are violated, all protections lose their validity.

Delivery/Collection service is available only by previous request.
Additional charges will be applied.
Electric vehicles must be returned with the same battery charge they had when picked up to avoid additional charges (on a per kWh basis). An additional admin fee will be charged if a vehicle is returned with less than 20 % battery charge remaining.
The vehicle must be returned in an acceptably clean condition in order to avoid additional charges.
Winter tires are recommended during the winter season but are not mandatory.
Snow chains are allowed in icy/snowy conditions.
Period of time, during regular working hours, when the car is still guaranteed for the customer, if the customer is late for pick up (the grace period) is 29 minutes.
