Pros: Hertz Agents were super friendly and the car was clean. Upgrade in vehicle was appreciated. Return was also extremely easy, no fuss about being a bit late due to horrible traffic around the airport. Hertz is just an overall great company and I will rent from them again.
Cons: Fact that I had to argue with the rental agency (not Hertz) to change times of pick-up and drop off which could have been done online but due to a glitch in their system it was not possible. It should have been a no-brainer, but the operator from Discover Cars was not well trained to address customer requests - I had to read him the conditions from their own website about cancellation policy - rather strange... Clearly room for improvement!

Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 19 years.
A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 25.
There is no maximum age.
A Senior driver fee is not applied.
The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 1 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.
For vehicles in groups Luxury, Premium, Fullsize, Compact Elite, Cabrios, Special a driver license issued at least 3 years ago is required.
Driver licenses will be accepted if issued in the following country(ies): United Kingdom, EU countries.
Driver licenses from all other countries must be accompanied with International Driving Permit (IDP).
A driver license printed using a non-Roman alphabet (Arabic, Japanese, Cyrillic, etc) must be supplemented by an International Driving Permit.
Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if accompanied by the regular driver license.
In addition to documents mentioned previously, the customer will need the following: passport, valid driver license, ID card, credit card on a main drivers name, booking voucher.

A deposit will be blocked on the customer's credit card and will be released within 30 days after drop-off.
The exact deposit is determined on pick up since the amount is dependent on the type of vehicle.

Fuel policy
The vehicle is provided with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid additional charges.
Electric vehicles must be returned with the same battery charge they had when picked up to avoid additional charges (on a per kWh basis). An additional admin fee will be charged if a vehicle is returned with less than 20 % battery charge remaining.
