Cons: Standing in the full sun waiting for an agent not so much fun but you have arranged a canopy which is helpful.

Cons: The representative at pickup at Figari falsely represented that only electric cars were used in Corsica, even though I reserved a gas car and never have used one. She just gave me the keys and told me to go out back. It was pitch black and I couldn’t find the car. Neither should she after I told her I couldn’t find it. So then, even though she told me only electives cars were used, she gave me a gas vehicle. It was automatic even though I reserved a manual. Terrible experience!

Cons: We were given NO assistance from the Hertz representative to find our rental car. As soon as our check in was completed the Hertz representative left for the day and closed the office. We looked for over one hour and were eventually offered another car by a different rental car company. Very poor customer service, but it provides a good story for our friends about how bad the Hertz office is. We had a more positive experience from the Hertz Nice office.

If the duration of your stay in France is longer than 12 months, a driver license issued in France is required. For driver licenses from countries not party to the International Driving Permit treaty, an official translation of the license must be presented with the original license. A driver license printed using a non-Roman alphabet (Arabic, Japanese, Cyrillic, etc) must be supplemented by an International Driving Permit.

A deposit will be blocked on the customer's credit card and will be released within 30 days after drop-off.
