Pros: Straightforward, quick and efficient
Pros: The price was nice and less than expected for Namibia.
Cons: I didn't the like the very large charge hold to my credit card. It didn't make sense to be so high. I also didn't like the 1000NAD charge for not returning the car clean. Its nickel and diming people. Robbing people for their hard earned money. Why charge people for cleaning a vehicle when its much less than that to get the car cleaned with a local service. You are cheating people. You already have a person who cleans cars on site. He was cleaning a car already when I returned.
Cons: The staff wasn't able to find a good solution for both sides when I was disappointed because of differences in rules during online booking by discovercats.com and picking up car by Herz.
Pros: Good car, excellent assistance (forgot to bring my passport from the hotel and I was taken in a car to pick it up)
Cons: Office was closed at the agreed return date (a Friday, but public Holiday in Namibia). We left the car with the car lot security guard, who signed the damage form (no damages). It took over a week (and we had already returned home) before it became clear the car return was accepted without damages.
Pros: The car was almost new.
Cons: It had no hertz representative on Saturday when I dropped off the car. The car was not so clean when I picked it up, A lot of time was spent on picking up the car.

A Young driver fee is not applied.
There is no maximum age.
A Senior driver fee is not applied.
The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 1 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.
In addition to the regular driver license, an International Driving Permit is also mandatory.
Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if it is accompanied by a regular driver's license, is issued by an official authority or government-authorized organization, and is in physical (not digital) form.
Customers are only allowed to rent only if they agree to a credit check and their credit score is satisfactory.
In order to pick up the car, the following documents are required: voucher, passport or ID, International Driving Permit and a valid credit card in the name of the renter.

When picking up the vehicle, all drivers must be present and must provide valid documentation.
