I called my bank and they confirmed they didn't see any failed transaction for the deposit. What is more unbelievable is that they managed to charge me the insurance fee with the my same credit card that wouldn't go through with deposit. Basically my card works only for what suits them. Also the car was bumped on all sides andnot very clean.

Pros: It is very important when you want to rent a car to think that insurance through the website is not used in Turkey, I had to pay insurance twice when I booked through the website and when I received the car from the office. And you must be aware that your payment card should not be of the ((Debit)) category because they do not work with it and I was forced to pay 300 Euros non-refundable because of the payment card.

My bank checked the visa systems and could not find any payment/deposit requests from HIT car rental and there were no card issues/blocks. - Then I asked them to try and take the deposit again, but the agent was rude and refused.

Pros: They were helpful and I used their WhatsApp contact number for when I got there. Communication was via WhatsApp call, and was quite easy. They arrived within 15minutes of me phoning them.

Cons: I booked an automatic 4x4, and hone I got there, I was given a small manual hatchback Ford. When I showed them the booking, they said they had no such car. They then gave us a Fiat Saloon but still manual. We landed late at night so didn't have any option but to take the manual. Anyway, it was a new car and it drove well, but gears are just another thing to worry about when you're already driving on the 'wrong' side of the road 🤣

Other companies require 1,500-2,000TL. 3- At pickup, they scare you by saying even a tiny scratch will cause you to lose your deposit(illegal). They make you buy insurance for 1,470TL/day. Other companies offer the same insurance for 150-200TL/day. 4- Even for small damage, they keep your entire deposit + charge your card more. They know tourists are easy targets.

Cons: DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Instead of releasing the 900 euro block on my card, the company debited the amount from my card. After more than 30 messages and multiple calls, I managed to get them to refund the 900 euros but, due to exchange changes, their (suspicious) mistake cost more 1000+ lira. When I asked the company to refund me this, their reply was "we don't have any refundable money in our account". I STRONGLY recommend using another company even if it costs slightly more.

Also we received the car with no fuel (6km left) so we had to go to the gas station direct after pick up.

Cons: I was to be picked from airport at 11:30 but no one showed until 12:15. I had to call them. They ripped-off by charging 1000 TL for full coverage on top of $6.54/day which I previously paid.

Pros: Affordability and the vehicle served my purposes well.

Cons: They would not have arrived at the voucher collection point as they clearly was not aware of same.

Cons: I didn't get a car. The communication was not clear with the car provider. Thay didn't come on promised time. I decided to rent the car on airport because of losing my trust in them.

Cons: We booked Full to Full but was empty to empty which you can't do without risking running out

Cons: Problems at drop off, office was closed at 08:00 hrs. Needed to wait for about 30 minutes someone to arrive. Same to same fuel policy (empty tank) created problems, rental agent asked me to prove that the tank was empty at the pick up.
