For cars picked up at Toronto Pearson Airport, Hub allows its vehicles to be taken outside of the province of Ontario only with previous permission and restrictions on the number of kilometers you’re allowed to drive — so you likely wouldn’t be able to drive to farther destinations like Calgary, Vancouver, or even Halifax.
In the US, the company doesn’t allow its vehicles to be taken outside of the state where they were picked up. The vehicles are tracked, and there is a large fine for any renter who does such.
