Hub Rent a Car at Orlando Airport

Pros: Hidden fees, no customer service. This company is a rip off with incredibly rude employees.

Cons: Nothing.

Pros: This place has no customer service. They do not understand people rent for the week, not an hour. The price came and said everyone had to leave after multiple requests from patrons to speak with a manager. The policeman I spoke with said he is called 3 times a week. That is not what the police should be doing because of a very stupid policy.

Cons: I spent over 1 hour trying to get my car. And was told they had no cars. There was over 100 cars in the lot. They have no problem taking your money with the reservation. As I stated to the person, I rented the car from Saturday the 17th until Saturday the 24th. Because of a weather delay they cancel our reservation. Who does business like this?

Pros: I didn’t like anything. I have rented cars multiple times and decided to try you. The service was terrible. I had a deposit on the car. My flight was 2.5 hours late. My reservation was cancelled but they did have a much more expensive suv for me. That was all that they had left. So much more money!

Cons: Then I had a rock chip in the windshield. I told them, gave them my insurance information. I was told that I had to pay them right now and that I could get reimbursed by my insurance. If I didn’t do that it could cost me a lot more because the car wouldn’t be able to be rented. It wouldn’t change the rent ability either way! What a scam!

Cons: When I arrived to pick up the car I was told my reservation was cancelled and had to pay over $300 more for the walk-in price.

Pros: They cancelled my reservation because Im a Florida resident and I do not have Credit card. I need my money back I don't recived my deposit yet.

Pros: The only good thing about this company was the shuttle driver,, he was very nice and apologized for the inconvenience this place caused us,,, that's more then the agent did

Cons: Once we arrived at the agency and we told that our credit card would have a $2500 dollar hold ( we expected $500) Then they wanted us to take there insurance, but we NEVER take the additional insurance because we are fully covered drivers. We had our insurance cards with us but because we didn't have the "declaration" page they insisted we have to take their insurance.. our insurance cards are good enough proof for the government but not for this rental agency..WE DID NOT RENT FROM THEM

Cons: It took a few hours to get my rental with no clue of where the shuttle picked us up from the airport. No one answers the phone at the office. Horrible service.

Pros: I didn’t get the car I just lost money!!! After arriving at the hotel I asked if I could pick the car up the following day which they said would be subject to availability. I rented it for a week so it should be there regardless of if I didn’t pick it up the first day, especially considering I contacted them repeatedly trying to get to the rental place.

Cons: Everything!!! I ended up using an Uber to get everywhere. I wasn’t even provided with a direct number to even see if there would be available cars if I showed up. I asked if I could get a refund and they said no. I’m sure it was somewhere in the fine print, but they definitely DID NOT have the customer’s best interest in mind!

Pros: The website was very clear, the price was nice for the very good service I received at the counter at the beginning and at the end.

Cons: The car was not new and the condition was not very good, but it worked fine

Pros: I liked absolutely nothing about this company.

Cons: The agents were slow, unprofessional, hateful and downright rude. People were spending 1-2 hours in the office trying to get their car. I almost missed my cruise.

Cons: Overall experience was rubbish, was nearly 3 hrs at rental office on pick up after a very ling day. Staff were rude.

Cons: I never got the car because the agents would not release it without an insurance policy number, which was not provided. It was late in the evening and we couldn’t contact anyone to help. We ended up having to book an Uber to get to our Villa (the agent wouldn’t even call us a taxi). Absolutely shocking service. I also received an email from Amex offering Cashback on your rentals. I will be writing to them to let them know my thoughts on that too!!

Cons: Everything. It took an hour for the shy to get to the airport to pick us up to go get the car. I had called 3 times already even the other shuttle drivers were calling for me. Then when o got to the car rental place there was a problem with insurance verification do I cancelled my car. Then they said they couldn’t refund me that I had to contact the original agent. More frustration and hassle

Cons: Waiting time for car for almost 1 hour and agents are not helping in any way. Long waiting shuttle service for the hub the and no clear communication on which shuttle to get on. Forcing customers to take liability coverage which will add upto 25$/day when compared with online pricing $7 Also forcing customer to take toll pass .

Pros: The service was fine but it was late at night so I don't really recall.

Cons: We waited almost an hour for the airport shuttle to arrive. Then when dropping off the car the shuttle was not as quick as they said it was. In fact, I caught a Uber to get to the airport instead of continuing to wait for the shuttle.

Cons: Already pay online for 1 week and arriving at the reception desk they took more than $300 for a SUV. That’s is a very bad news for anyone who already pay almost $200 online. This is unfair next time I know what yo do. Definitely I will not recommend nobody using Hub Rent a Car.

Pros: I never got my car!! Shuttle never showed up to the airport!!! Waited 45 mins for one to show up and then started calling. Finally got through over am hour later to be told "you were a no show, so your reservation is canceled and you don't get your vehicle or a refund". The customer service sucked even when I went to their facility the next day. I lost and entire day of my vacation with a sick child who this trip was for. I have submitted a complaint to customer service and still nothing.

Cons: They are rude and unprofessional. I will tell everyone I can to never rent from them. They are predatory and it's a bait and switch. If I don't get a resolution...I will go to the BBB!

Cons: Arrived at 2:30am and 7 people ahead of me in the counter, took 1.5hr to get to my turn, only 1 person on the night shifts.

Pros: None, I don't like anything about this car rental experience.

Cons: Everything was bad. I was not given the car I paid for. The girl working at the time told me that I will have to paid for even tiniest of scratches to the car so I better take picture of the car before checking out. I spend 45 min going over every details in fear that I will have to pay for scratches that is tinnier than a penny.

Pros: Drop off was quick. After waiting in line for well over an hour and being harrassed at pick up, we were worried about how the drop off would go. We ended our vacation early to bring the car back early so we did not risk the same horrible service as we had at pick up.

Cons: we had to call for shuttle 3 times before someone finally came. Flight was in at 10:15, Never got picked up until midnight. We were charged extra fees for an insurance "waiver" that we did NOT HAVE TO PAY. We have PLENTY of insurance coverage and a ZERO deductible. We were stuck there with no ride back to the airport and had to finally sign their "waiver" and pay the $213.64 in order to be able to get to our vacation destination. We were laughed at and treated like trash. Horrible experience!!!!

Pros: Management helped with a small situation that presented at the time of drop off. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

Cons: The location is too far from airport, the shuttle takes too long for pick up/drop off, they need to add more US base insurance companies as an option to be able to use as primary insurance, my US based insurance was not part of their list of insurance companies. A US based phone number for location should be display easily on web rental companies.

Cons: Agents were slow and this is the first ever rental company that asked for my insurance cover page. I did their express check in option on-line but had to do it all again with the agent. Nothing express with this company.

Pros: The car was in good shape and a comfortable ride (Toyota Highlander ).

Pros: Upgraded car from Toyota rav 4 to a 4 Runner. Car was brand new and in excellent condition.

Cons: Misleading cost of rental. Online booked for $300 cad but had an additional $500 USD when picking up car from HUB. Company did not accept Canadian insurance coverage. Location of rental company 10 minutes from airport.

Cons: There was no signage at the airport, the shuttle bus did not have HUB logo on it, the phone number provided during confirmation was disconnected, the shuttle ride was way too long, the rental building was old and run down, the line was very long to get service, the insurance policy was redivision’s, the paperwork said they would put a $2500 hood on my card which was way too high. Very poor quality, very poor service. Will never use again, will not recommend

Pros: Absolutely nothing. If anyone even reads this I would like a refund of $153.53. Which is the entirety of the payment online since I cancelled the reservation of this vehicle. Booking # DC-4606720

Cons: They told me I had to contact them online to receive the refund for what I paid online. I was unable to do so because my “rental time started”. My flight was delayed which caused this entire issue and they should understand that this is an issue that probably happens a lot.

Pros: Relatively fast to receive and return the car.

Cons: They make money from additional fees that they hope the customer doesn’t notice. They don’t show you the contract before signing or even at the desk but wait till you get outside. Would not recommend.

Cons: There were lots of hidden fees. I was told the insurance I bought they the booking site has nothing to do with them and I needed to buy it from them even though I also had my own Progressive insurance as well. The booking receipt said there was unlimited miles on site they told me that only applies to non local renters and unlimited was another $25. Although u can’t take the car out of state. My booking said 9am pick up I got there and I wasn’t in the system caused a 30 min delay

Cons: Every part of the pickup and drop off process was painful - I feel like the agents are trained to be as slow and obtuse as possible just to grind you down so you'll agree to basically anything if it means finally getting out and trying to get back to whatever you have planned.

Cons: Many things - 1. location is SHADY and looks like a pop-up business; 2. we were charged $99.99 to be able to use our own American Family Insurance - they told us it was in the "fine print" online but I have never ever heard of such a thing. That doubled the cost of our car rental. 3. They put a hold on our credit card which I have never had to do before. AND it had to be in the driver's name so I couldn't use my business card to pay for it - I didn't want to drive but I was willing to pay.

Cons: Very very bad not friendly at all takes lot of time to release the car. Lots of unexpected expenses high deposit of 2500$. Miscommunication about full coverage amount. The shuttle very confusing not displaying any names on it.

Cons: there were too many company names associated with this. We couldn't figure out where we were, or who was supposed to be helping us. Picking up the car was very confusing.

Cons: My plane was rerouted and I called to let them know I would be late picking up my vehicle, when I got to pick up my car they had already given it to someone else because I was “more than two hours past my pick up time” and wanted to charge me $300 extra for another vehicle. Discover cars refuse to refund me.
