Pros: The car was appalling, dents all over, management light on, brakes grinder, UNSAFE!

Pros: Engine Management systems warning light and tyre pressure light was indicating a fault. The brake’s shuddered and seems this car had not been serviced for years due to defective door window opener, door hinges, etc. The car had damaged on vertically every panel. I went back into the hire booth and was told they were aware of these faults and not to worry. The car was the only one they had that had not been allocated!

Pros: Desk directly at the airport

Cons: We got a car demanding service, so we did not feel 100 % safe using it in difficult terrain of the Azore islands. Moreover, there was low battery in the key and we had to visit the desk again to get another one.

Pros: Good cars even better than expected

Cons: The personnel of the company is not very friendly. They are very strict about the rules and since our flight was cancelled we could not change our reservation adding one more day while reducing the next reservation in the other island. More flexibility would be appreciated

Cons: Me dieron un coche viejo, que le hacía ruidos la dirección saltaba la luz de revisión sin hacer. Me cambian el coche por uno más viejo, sucio con la misma alarma de cambio de aceite, pero se conducía mejor.

Cons: Thé warranty ceilings are to high (2100 €). 2000€ would have been enough. so the agency took €68 more on the rental price

Pros: All in all they were pleasent and quick

Cons: I had a hard time reaching them when I tried to phone during working ours, it took about an hour to get a response

Cons: Good service. The Fiat panda was underpowered for the mountainous terrain on Flores.

Pros: When I finally was able to reach the counter after a one hour wait, she was very quick to get my paperwork done and when I had explained about all the car troubles that I had had on other islands, she gave me a very new car so that I would have a good experience.

Cons: I had to wait one hour in line to get my car. The staff member was very overworked and tired and so not friendly in the least.

Pros: Needed brakes, windshield wipers, bumper draggging ground and completely dirty inside! Also AC not functioning properly. Had to return car and get another, that still did not meet our standards. Very unsafe cars! Representative horrible!!!

Cons: After we returned the car with bad brakes she made us wait, and offered us another car (after a huge struggle to get her to do it) and gave us a newer car, that was just as dirty, and broken! This place needs quality control by the government! Or corporate! How are they allowed to operate this way! Did not feel safe in both Terceira, and Dlores island, will vow never to rent from them again!

Pros: The car was almost new, only 20K kilometres, however there were a lot of scratches. It is nothing as technical condition of the cra was good. It was also clean and without smells.

Cons: I had to wait a bit too long in the queue. Deposit was 1300€ what seem to be unreasonable given full insurance coverage I ordered.

Pros: That the deposit is transferred to the next car rental on a other island. So the creditcard is not maxed out.

Cons: At Some times, the airplanes landings were before the original schedule, but there was no flexibility. Even if the cars were there.

Cons: If you book it by discovercars you cannot extend the booking on site. We were wrongly informed by some agent at the desk so we hat to open a new booking where the price was more than twice the price of discovercars... the agents took more than an hour to perform the new booking. so in total we lost more than 2 hours...

Cons: The car was very old and very scratched. It struggled to get up hills which given the terrain of flores was not ideal

Cons: We had to wait 2h before we could get our car. The employee (Lina) seemed to be more than overcharged. She did not greet even greet us when it is finally was our turn. I understand this is a stressful job but a bit of friendliness doesnt hurt.

Cons: I think the state of the cars should be better checked routinely.

Pros: Car was given to us dirty inside and out with no compensation offered and both rear tyres were close to legal wear limit.

Pros: The employer Lina was reserved, unfriendly and not cooperative at all. Worst I have ever experienced!

Cons: I filled a complaint book and am waiting to hear back to get a refund: 1.Waiting time when picking up the car: 1 hour (car was not ready because I was 5 minutes early) 2.The back door of the car did not open 3.Scratches all over the car 4.Two signal lamps came on during the rental week. The second time they only replied after 9 hours to tell me that I can continue driving so I lost a full day of rental. I expect a refund at least of 50 € for all this trouble!

Cons: I was overcharged for the missing fuel (it was impossible to tank the car on Sunday as all stations were closed). I was charged for 5/8 of the tank while I should have paid only for 3/8. Watch out not to be scammed!

Cons: the first woman was the most unfriendly i've ever met, the second one when we returned the car was not there at the due time, we had to wait one hour.

Cons: Very disappointed that they charged the cleaning fee as the car was clean when we returned it. 😟. Like this better to put it on the rent. Wrote to the rental company and they didn’t even reply. It’s not the money but the principal.

Cons: Ilhaverde Flores pretends only 20 days later that I had filled up the car with wrong fuel, They should have noticed this on the day I have given back the car or at the latest the day after. After such a long time I don't remember all details! I have given back the car on the 2.4.19 and they wrote on the duplicate of my contract that EVERYTING was O..K.! They also handed me over the prove of "Santander Totta", proving that the deposit of Euro 1'3000.-- was canceled. Now they charge meEuro 246.20
