Pros: Pick up staff Ok, but Opel Crossland ordered or similar. I got Peogeot 2008- that is not similar. Problems to enter the parking gate as the staff gave no access card. This was uneccary stress, to stand inside the gate closed for a while.

Cons: Italy Car Rent ADR - Fiumicino Car rental experience. Rent a car at ADR Is a residence and rents a car many times a year at ADR, including Italia Car Rent, which is serious and tidy. But when returning on 11.11.24, a small bulb without paint residue was immediately found on the driver's side door, close to old damage. Unknown to me. Had a photo of the car when picked up, excluding damage location. I accepted the ICR lady's critical and indisputable remark.250 euro

Also accusing me of scratching passenger front corner. I would not recommend using Italy Car Rental ever again. This is the second year that I went through discover Rent-A-Car and supplied me with Italy Rent-A-Car had the same problem last year.

Cons: They were trying to sell me double insurance and they were talking bad about using Discover Rent-A-Car because you are a third-party and I got the insurance through you guys. I suggest you do not use Italy Car Rental in the future Also, the vehicle they gave me had a governor on it. It will not go over 117 kilometers per hour.

We were told we were lying about the condition of the car. Third day car failed to start again and could not even unlock. Finally on 4th day a new car was brought up to us.

It was available on site, but said something that it does not have permit to go out of Rome and the replacement car was fiat500x which was very much prone to theft. And accordingly car was broken into and all luggage stolen in Pisa. And finally the provider started charging to credit card every month as traffic penalties without any prior notice. More than 1500 euros charged as traffic fines. Unable to trace authencity.

When I came back , there was 10 customers-so that’s no efficiency. The car I choose and I pay for 5 months before, wasn’t availlable(jeep) , so they gave me a ford. The car wasn’t clean and after 200 km , there was necessarily changing oil message on board.I payed full insurance 2 times and no money back!!!

When I declined the additional insurance offered, my credit card was declined for the deposit, even though I was on the phone with my bank and they could see the requests coming through , which then “forced” then to charge me for insurance doubling the cost of my rental since I had to use a debit card. Then they didn’t want down the car for damage, telling me.

Pros: The service desk in Rome was efficient and explained the process to me. I would have wanted them to go through all the past damages with me rather than the onus being on me to choose. But overall they were very friendly and fast to get the car prepared. The people in Rome were great.

Cons: The quality of the vehicle was the absolute worst. We rented a Kia Picanto, which was covered in dents, scratches, scrapes, and almost every panel was marked up. My wife and i drove around the country and experienced issues with the starter (sometimes you would have to jiggle the keys in the ignition). Drop off in Milano was the worst. No direction on turn in and nobody at the return "desk" nor any clear indications of where to even locate the main desk. The phones were not working i guess.
