Keddy
A part of Europcar Mobility Group, Keddy operates internationally, with a presence in more than 145 countries across the globe. Founded in 1949 and based in Paris, France, Europcar is one of the oldest and largest car companies on the planet. Keddy was launched in 2015 as a Europcar mobility project with a special focus on travel agents, brokers, and tour operators, although the company’s services are also available to independent travelers. Keddy and Europcar operate the same fleet of over 300,000 vehicles across the planet.
The company has received numerous prizes and honors, not least being named the best car rental company by the World Travel Awards in 2020. According to the company’s website, it brands itself as striving to “provide the highest quality of service and expertise to "price-sensitive leisure customers."
DiscoverCars.com customers also have a favorable view of the company, giving it especially high marks for car cleanliness and time spent dropping off a car. The company has an especially high rating by DiscoverCars.com’s customers when it comes to its offices in the Frankfurt International Airport, Warsaw Airport, Bergamo Airport, Sardinia, and Cape Town.
Like many other rental car companies, Keddy permits one-way rentals for many destinations, especially within shared border agreements such as the Schengen Zone in Europe. That being said, there are also exceptions, and travelers who rent a vehicle with Keddy in the United States are normally not permitted to visit Canada or Mexico during their rental periods.
