Pros: Reasonable vfm easy to book online.

Cons: I don’t think a credit check even if it is soft is appropriate when you have a charge against my credit card. I felt pressure to take out extra insurance when I’d already taken discover cars highest cover. An upgrade was offered but £100 more! They seemed to want me to spend more. But the most annoying thing was the text from Europcar with completely the wrong drop off instructions- they cost me half an hour and £6 unnecessary trip into the short stay car park- very bad service!

Pros: Poor experience. Flight was canceled and the car company refused to hold the reservation for another day.

Cons: I emailed support team and they were kind enough to hold the reservation however they did not respond prior to our landing and we were forced to make another reservation at double the price. I wish they would have responded sooner.

Pros: Ability to report scratches up to 24hrs after pick up

Cons: Felt I had little choice as no cars left as I had booked and the alternative was a MG suv which was too large or else to pay extra for audi a3 or merc B class which I did. Also the deposit of 700 pounds because of going through a broker is very high.

Cons: The car broke down, we had to call the AA and we lost 1/2 day usage. All because they hadn't topped up the oil. Also, we kept getting a message about tyre pressure. They are not checking the car properly between hires.

Pros: By and large, the service was excellent except for the queue to collect the car. There were staff to assist with the ticketing and as far as I could see all the desks were open and the problem was shear volume of users. I waited about twenty five minutes and the forecast wait time said 13 minutes. (That time did not change however many people were in the queue). This is not a criticism more an observation. Basically; Gatwick was busy and there was not much anybody could have done about that.

Free cancellation with a full refund up to 48 hours before your pick-up time, Mileage: 1000 miles per rental, Collision Damage Waiver (deductible: ~€ 1925.00), Theft Protection, Third Party Liability (TPL), Road tax, Vehicle registration fee, Environmental charge, Free modifications, State Tax.

Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 22 years.
A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 26.

Maximum rental age is 75 years.
A Senior driver fee is not applied.

The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 2 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.

UK customers must bring their DVLA check code along with their photo ID. This check code can be obtained from the DVLA website.
UK residents that hold a non-UK licence may drive in the UK for up to 12 months from the time they become a resident. After 12 months, the overseas licence will be deemed illegal in the UK and it must be exchanged for the UK equivalent.
Residents of the following country(ies): United Kingdom are required to present the following document(s): passport, valid driver license, credit card on a main drivers name, booking voucher, additional ID showing home address (e.g. Utility bill) in order to pick up the car.

Residents of the following country(ies): Non-UK are required to present the following document(s): passport, valid driver license, credit card on a main drivers name, booking voucher, additional ID showing home address (e.g. Utility bill), proof of entry/exit into/out of the country in order to pick up the car.

In addition to the regular driver license, an International Driving Permit is also mandatory if the driver license is written in a language other than that of the renting country and/or in characters that cannot be read in the renting country.
Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if accompanied by the regular driver license.
Deposit and deductible policy
A deposit will be blocked on the customer's credit card and will be released within 30 days after drop-off.
A deposit will be charged if one of the following cards is used: Debit cards.
The exact deposit is determined on pick up since the amount is dependent on the type of vehicle.

If the customer takes the following extra equipment: GPS Navigation system, Child seat (2-4 years of age), Booster seat (4-10 years of age), then an additional amount of deposit will be held on their credit card.
Payment policy
At time of pick up, customers will be required to pay the amount of the rental and a deposit.
It is possible to pay and leave the deposit only with the following payment methods: Diners, Visa Debit Card, MasterCard credit card, VISA credit card, American Express credit card, MasterCard debit card.

The main driver must provide a physical payment card in their name with enough funds to cover the deposit to pick up the car. The rental company will neither accept virtual credit cards (e.g., GooglePay or ApplePay) nor someone else’s card (including family members).
Cross-border policy
Cross border rentals are allowed only upon previous request.
Crossing country borders is allowed to the following countries: Ireland, Northern Ireland.
crossing country borders is forbidden for certain car groups.
Written permission from the rental company is required.
In the event that Cross Border & Territorial Restrictions are violated, all protections lose their validity.
Optional extras and services
Available special equipment: GPS Navigation system, Baby seat (up to 1 year of age).
Prices for extras are shown on the booking page.

Adding additional drivers is allowed.
There is an additional charge for each driver.
Underage additional drivers are subject to both Young Driver and Additional Driver fees.
When picking up the vehicle, all drivers must be present and must provide valid documentation.

Delivery/Collection service is available within city limits. Additional charges will be applied, depending on the distance.
Fuel policy
The vehicle is provided with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid additional charges.
Additional information
Winter tires are recommended during the winter season but are not mandatory.
Snow chains are allowed in icy/snowy conditions.
Business hours
Service outside of business hours is available by request and for an additional charge.
Period of time, during regular working hours, when the car is still guaranteed for the customer, if the customer is late for pick up (the grace period) is 30 minutes.
