Cons: Car provided smelled strongly of smoke. Not just a little but extremely smelly. Tried following up with email complaint with no reply. Wouldn’t recommend. Pick up was very slow.

Pros: Drop off easy.

Cons: All issues with keddy/Europcar in Geneva Airport French side. No keddy desk at airport, had to go to Europcar. Took a really long time to first locate the car, and then to get keys for car. Told car had no damage, but it did, so had to email Europcar photos of damage - would be better to be able to show agent, but wasn't possible. No screen wash in car and had left collection point by time it was needed.

Cons: I was told that I had booked summer tyres when I landed in Geneva Airport in March. I booked a car , not tyres. I was forced to pay for an upgrade. I felt trapped in the airport with my family unless I paid for the upgrade.

Pros: The car was almost new, automatic and hybrid.

Cons: The agent charged us 20 euros per day for plastic tire chains that were not needed at this time of the year. The chains cost more than the cost of car daily rental.

Pros: They upgraded our car but only because the one we booked wasn't ready

Cons: We couldn't find the car rental desk and when we eventually found it it wasn't labelled Keddy, nor Discover Car Hire but Europcar instead! This made us late for our appointment. The car wasn't clean, and had a warning light saying it needed a service many miles ago.

Cons: Being ripped off for my prebooked car car by the very angry and aggressive representative who gave my car away to someone else then charged me double for the same car and made further threats stating it was illegal to drive without winter tyres in the mountains even when it’s 20 degrees Celsius and no snow is forecast and I had to pay another 30 euros extra per day for another car.

Pros: Keddy staff could not see that we had booked a car with snow tyres / chains on their confirmation from Discover Cars, despite what was written on our rental voucher, which meant we had to pay for an upgrade directly with them. The staff commented that there are very often issues for bookings that come through Discover Cars with.

Cons: The price was not great value. The car itself could do with a full MOT. Keddy is not advertised / sign posted, only Europcar is which it is presumably a subsidiary of, this makes it very confusing.

Pros: Nothing! the desk was closed 10 minutes before I arrived. My flight was delayed and my bags took 1hr to be unloaded after the flight landed.

Cons: I was charged an extra 50€ because I arrived at the desk after 5pm (it was 5:13pm)! This had not been anounced in any way. When I returned the car, before 5pm, there was nobody at the desk. This was one of my worst car rental experiences.

Rate includes
Free cancellation with a full refund up to 48 hours before your pick-up time, Unlimited mileage, Collision Damage Waiver (deductible: € 2000.00), Theft Protection, Third Party Liability (TPL), Airport surcharge, Road tax, Vehicle registration fee, Free modifications, State Tax.
Rate excludes
Many highways in France are tolled using only electronic means.
An E-Toll is offered in order to avoid violation fees.
Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 18 years.
A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 26.

There is no maximum age.
A Senior driver fee is not applied.

The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 1 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.

For vehicles in groups Compact, Standard, Luxury, Intermediate, Fullsize, Compact Elite a driver license valid for at least 3 years is required.
For vehicles in groups Premium a driver license valid for at least 5 years is required.

A driver license printed using a non-Roman alphabet (Arabic, Japanese, Cyrillic, etc) must be supplemented by an International Driving Permit.
In addition to the regular driver license, an International Driving Permit is also mandatory if the customer is not a resident of the following country(ies): United Kingdom, EU countries. Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if it is accompanied by a regular driver's license, is issued by an official authority or government-authorized organization, and is in physical (not digital) form.

In order to pick up the car, the following documents are required: valid driver license, credit card on a main drivers name, Passport or ID card, booking voucher, proof of home address (e.g. Utility bill), that is valid for at least 3 months before the pick up date.
Deposit and deductible policy

Optional extras and services
Available special equipment: GPS Navigation system, Child seat (2-4 years of age), Snow chains.
Prices for extras are shown on the booking page.

Adding additional drivers is allowed.
There is an additional charge for each driver.
Underage additional drivers are subject to both Young Driver and Additional Driver fees.
When picking up the vehicle, all drivers must be present and must provide valid documentation.

Fuel policy
The vehicle is provided with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid additional charges.
Diesel vehicles are available only by request upon arrival.
Diesel vehicles are available for an additional charge.
Electric vehicles must be returned with the same battery charge they had when picked up to avoid additional charges (on a per kWh basis). An additional admin fee will be charged if a vehicle is returned with less than 80 % battery charge remaining.
Additional information
By law, winter tires are mandatory on all roads from 01.11 to 31.03 in the following regions: Ain, Allier, Alpes-de-Haute-Provence, Hautes-Alpes, Alpes-Maritimes, Ardeche, Ariege, Aude, Aveyron, Cantal, Doubs, Drome, Haute-Garonne, Isere, Jura, Loire, Haute-Loire, Lozere, Moselle, Puy-de-Dome, Pyrénées-Atlantiques, Hautes-Pyrénées, Pyrénées-Orientales, Bas-Rhin, Haut-Rhin, Rhone, Haute-Saone, Savoie, Haute-Savoie, Tarn, Var, Vaucluse, Vosges, Territoire de Belfort.
During the winter season, snow chains are mandatory on roads in mountainous areas that are marked by a road sign.

Period of time, during regular working hours, when the car is still guaranteed for the customer, if the customer is late for pick up (the grace period) is 0 minutes. If the customer is late for a return for more than 29 minutes, extra day charges will apply, in addition to any other rental charges.
