Locauto at Naples Airport

Pros: Everyting good, it is perfect that you don't need to leave deposit.

Cons: Our only issue with finding the rental car drop off location. We were circling Naples for quite a while as we were expecting a sign out front. A picture of the entry to the parking garage would have been super helpful and more clear directions on the website about the Naples train station return.

Pros: Staff was super friendly, attentive and informative. Pick up and drop off was super fast and I felt really well serviced. Thank you!

Pros: It was easy to find. As I did online check-in I skipped the line and it really took max 3min to get the keys :) Giving back the car took not more. Check of the car was also quick and easy.

Cons: When someone is coming at the desk saying "Excuse me, I just have a question", don't quickly reply "Line is over there". As your offered Online check-in says "skip the lines". Before my word 'Online check in' I was offered to go to the line even without hearing my question "Should I stand in the line if I have online check in?"..

Pros: Locauto were fantastic and very easy to deal with. We picked up our car at Naples airport no problems. Car was great., it had a few scratches and bumps which we took photos of before we left but it was all good.

Cons: My only issue was at drop off. I had no communication from them and wasn’t sure where to leave the keys before business hours. Not a big deal and we worked it out

Cons: The car reserved was broken and they provided a very old one (and poorly clean) to replace. The drop off was terribly awful. No signs where to leave the car. By chance I found an employee (bad tempered) of the company after more than 1 hour of search. At the and, one light of "flat tire" was misteriously on just in time the employee was checking the car. The employee demanded that I signed a statement that I have damaged the tire (wich I surely didn't, not the damage, and not the signature)

Pros: I understand that when choosing a class of car, in case it’s unavailable, we may receive a model from the same segment. I paid to rent a VW T-Roc because I wanted a small SUV. I even asked the service person, who confirmed this. In the parking lot, I received a Golf. With the same parameters, it was listed at a significantly lower price on the Discovercars website. I was told that you have to take what is available…professional, right?

Cons: When returning the car, I had to sign a blank screen on the tablet, without any text indicating what I was signing or agreeing to.

Cons: The car return said it was at ”terminal” in Bergamo which it wasn’t which almost made me miss my flight having to find it and wait for a shuttle bus.

Cons: Exorbitant re-fueling charges of Euro 45. I couldn't refuel myself as I was getting late to catch the train.

Cons: No. Absolutely rude. Made me stand in a line for 40 minutes even though they had no intention of renting a car to me despite my reservation. Went to a competitor's desk right right next to them and had a car in 10 minutes.

Cons: Used the car for an extra 2h permitted and they charged a full extra day. There could be a way to pay for only those 2 hours of the extra day

Cons: Rude behavior of the ladies when handing over the vehicle. Reluctant and kept swearing at herself in Italian. She is completely uninterested in the client. The vehicle was not prepared in advance. a full tank was not filled

Cons: There was no spare tire. We got a flat tire and had to pay for a tow and replacement tire out of pocket. When we asked Locauto for a reimbursement they said "spare tires are not provided and this is your problem not ours." We of course would have used Locauto 24-hour roadside assistance, but they told us they could not simply come and replace the tire or even provide us with a new tire. They said they needed to tow the car away, which would have left us stranded without a car.

Cons: I have never seen a car agency look a scratches on the hub caps. We were charged for a scratch on a hub cap. My wife and I both do not remember hitting a cub. When we checked out the car I looked at the body. It is my thinking that I might of got scammed by the car agency. Live and Learn this will not happen again.
