Pros: Pick up from our hotel for the original pick up.

Cons: The car was in bad condition, which marred our vacation experience. The brakes and engine were not in good condition. When we contacted the car rental agency to let them know that the check engine light was illuminated on the first day of the rental, we were told to ignore it. In addition, one of the car doors did not lock. Overall, car was in very bad condition, which made us nervous for the duration of our vacation.

Cons: It would of been an easier experience to have the car picked up and dropped off with a full tank of gas rather then 1/4 tank as it is hard to judge the amount to fill up before dropping it off.

Cons: Car was in bad shape and was not a full automatic - when it switched gears it did so in a very jerky/un-smooth fashion. The representatives do not communicate with each other and one of the two reps I dealt with was very rude.

Pros: The service was great. Picking up and dropping off was very easy.

Cons: It was a bit more expensive, I found, than a lot of other rentals in the area. I would probably recommend to friends to find something cheaper.

Pros: The man who met was so thorough and patient. He made sure he explained every detail and answered every question we had.

Cons: Having to find someone at the airport can lead to all sorts of problems. The man who met us at the airport was 45 minutes late so is a good thing our flight was delayed so we didn't wait long. I wish there was a designated counter instead for cases like this.

Pros: The Luso representatives spoke to us in English and were nice and they tried to limit the amount of time spent dealing with pickup and drop off.

Cons: I didn't know that Luso didn't have a desk to approach in the airport, It would have been helpful to know where to look for the representative and his red clipboard.
