Pros: I waited almost two hours while I was bypassed for other customers after having checked in and paid for the car. My car was given to a different customer. The agent had to come downstairs and help me get the car
Cons: I have already said. Paying discover and mex for insurance and the huge wait to get the car
Pros: Only that the car was modern and worked.
Cons: Hidden costs explained as my liability insurance wasn’t at a higher enough amount for local laws. Yet I never saw any actual costs other than hand written on a piece of paper.
Pros: SCAM company! They doubled the price that I paid on the Discovery Car platform saying that the insurance package I had was invalid.
Cons: Nothing. I will NOT use this company ever again.
Cons: The cost of the rental was 500% more than advertised. I’m happy with what I paid and even expected it from past experiences although I think it’s unfair to put a price that is for the most part an arbitrary number. For example the advertised price was $222 CAD on your website and when I got to the reception desk it was over $1100 CAD. Considering I a paid $60 to use your services just to book a rental car and was lead astray as pricing goes, I will now book directly with the rental company.
Pros: The representative that we spoke with while we were waiting for a car to arrive, was very nice and helpful in terms of explaining things we could do while we were in Puerto Vallarta.
Cons: Insurance was too expensive and cost/conversion rates seemed overly complex and difficult to understand.

Rental Conditions
Please check the Rental Conditions for each vehicle prior to booking as some conditions, particularly the deposit and deductible, may vary based on the class of vehicle.
A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 26.
Maximum rental age is 70 years.
A Senior driver fee is not applied.
The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 1 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.
In addition to the regular driver license, an International Driving Permit is also mandatory if the driver license is written in a language other than that of the renting country and/or in characters that cannot be read in the renting country. Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if accompanied by the regular driver license.
In order to pick up the car, the renter and each additional driver must present the following documents: passport, credit card, ID card.
The following credit cards issued on the main driver's name are accepted: MasterCard, Visa, American Express, JCB. Any other cards or cash payments are not accepted.
The main driver must provide a physical payment card in their name with enough funds to cover the deposit to pick up the car. The rental company will neither accept virtual credit cards (e.g., GooglePay or ApplePay) nor someone else’s card (including family members).

Adding additional drivers is allowed.
There is an additional charge for each driver.
Underage additional drivers are subject to both Young Driver and Additional Driver fees.
When picking up the vehicle, all drivers must be present and must provide valid documentation.
All extras are available at the rental counter. Prices vary, depending on the rental period.
Delivery/collection service is not provided.
In case of renting at the airport location, the customer must provide a valid flight number in order to make a reservation.
If the renter would like to extend the rental period, renter should return to the car hire office at the end of the rental period to sign a new agreement.
Period of time, during regular working hours, when the car is still guaranteed for the customer, if the customer is late for pick up (the grace period) is 60 minutes.
