Cons: Complete Scam!!!! You think you may be getting a deal but you get cornered when you get to the desk and they tell you, you need to purchase an additional insurance for $50/day on top of the insurance that you purchased online. Shameful that they take advantage of people that way. The person working at the desk also admitted that it was a complaint that they received often from other renters but ultimately didn’t do anything to help.

Pros: The staff was extremely helpful and patient. I was having issues with my bank at the beginning of the rental and they were kind while I tried to sort everything out, they offered other options for my issue, which was appreciated. The car was in good shape, clean and well maintained. The price was excellent, no hidden fees

Pros: Besides the long line and the slow process, everything else was fine. The car was just what I reserved, same model, in perfect conditions, the price was as expected no unnecessary extras were added. Agents were professional and friendly.

Cons: First off it was not disclosed if you didnt' carry specific insurance company you had to to buy there insurance for another 600. The car i received was not the segment car i was expecting it was smaller. I will never use this rental company or this online agent again. Upon arrival at airport you are instructed to call mex rent but noone answers i had to have another company text the driver to come get us. Upon drop off when we returned they didn't drop us at wrong location for depart flights

Pros: I needed a car that seats 6 and they had one for a reasonable price

Cons: When I first landed (my flight was delayed a bit so the time was later than expected) they didn't answer the phone for awhile so I was afraid I wouldn't be able to get my car. When I finally did get ahold of them getting a shuttle was difficult - the shuttle does not have their company name and I missed it because I didn't understand what to look for. Then when I got to the rental center they did not have the car I reserved. They tried to swap in a car which only seats 5 people

Pros: I liked that the car was clean and easy to find.

Cons: I did not like the business model. Apparently, MEX RENT A CAR charges for required insurance, and the price is astronomical. I personally have a personal car I just bought that costs 50k and Vanessa at the front desk told me that my insurance on my brand new car was not enough to cover the car at MEX RENT A CAR??? HOW!? Also, I thought it was crazy that I chose not to pay for the EZ PASS and told the front desk I will pay for my tolls, BUT the EZPASS in the car was STILL ACTIVE. SCAM!

Cons: They are thieves. I called them because my flight was delayed to informed and they said ok no problem. But when I arrived they said I no longer had my car reserved so they charged ma extra. In tho of that they claimed that my insurance through Geico wasn’t good enough so I had to pay them an extra- $400. They are disrespectful , dishonest, they take advantage of tourist. This is the first and last time I’ll ever rent with them.
