Micauto
Micauto is a car rental company operating in the Azores, the Atlantic island chain that belongs to Portugal but is geographically located nearly halfway between Europe and North America. In the Azores, the company has a presence in Ponta Delgada, the largest in the archipelago and the main port of entry for foreign visitors.
The company is very highly rated by its customers. In fact, it is so highly rated that it has won our Excellent Car Rental Service Award in both 2023 and 2024 for both Ponta Delgada Airport and downtown Ponta Delgada.
Micauto is affiliated with Angrauto which operates on the island of Terceira where Pria da Victoria (and Lajes Terceira Airport) is located. Neither of the companies allow their cars to be taken off the island where they were rented. They also don’t offer one-way rentals or delivery of the vehicle to hotels.
