Midway
Midway is a car rental company operating in the U.S. state of California, more specifically, in the city of Los Angeles and its surrounding region in Southern California. The company has an office at LAX International Airport, making it convenient to pick up a rental vehicle right after your arrival there.
Midway was founded in 1972 and has become the largest independent car rental company in the urban metropolis of Southern California. The company also has offices across the region including in Hollywood, West Hollywood, Beverly Hills, Burbank, and Santa Monica. The company began by renting vehicles to Hollywood studios (which it still does). It, naturally given its locations, also specializes in renting luxury and exotic vehicles. It still offers economy cars and the like, particularly at LAX, though.
The company neither accepts debit cards nor does it allow its vehicles to be driven to Mexico.
