Cons: The car was parked some distance from the rental office which made return difficult. Lots of paperwork required compared to other rentals. The car was a lower standard, smaller and less powerful than expected (Toyota AYGO instead of Volkswagen Polo).

Cons: We are currently being scammed by the rental company. They charged the full deposit on the credit card, instead of just a hold. They charged for an extra driver. These two items were not as per the agreement by Discovery. we are very upset. Discovery needs to help us. After returning the car our credit card was charged a whopping $4023 for unexplained reasons. When looking online this rental car has a poor reputation and reflects badly on Discovery. Please fix. Cons: It was impossible to find parking near the car rental location. We drove around for a total of about an hour. Kept asking for help. But they refused. We almost missed a train. We were obviously upset and worried elderly people but agent was quite callous and indifferent. I would not suggest ANYBODY rent from Prague city center location because of return car situation- self park in congested area.

Cons: The rental was not from NUCarrentals but rather subcontracted to the RentPlus. Their office in central Prague is a one-room apartment on the first floor of an office building. There is no parking spot to unload your suitcases from a taxi, and the clerk simply gives you the keys, and advises to look for the rented car parked "somewhere around the block". Mine was actually more than a block away. And the clerk told me that it would be my responsibility to find a parking place upon returning

They refused to charge in € or USD and charged a ridiculous currency fee conversion to local currency. They were talking to other people in the office while dealing with us. Cons: Car broke in the middle of the road and I was on phone for 3 hours with customer service. He didn't picked up the phone sometimes and after 3 hours he find someone, yes 3 hours. Ofcurse I dint wait for him and had to ask people on the road to help me. What a awful experience.

Rate includes
Free cancellation with a full refund up to 48 hours before your pick-up time, Unlimited mileage, Collision Damage Waiver (deductible: € 900.00), Theft Protection, Tire & Glass Coverage, Third Party Liability (TPL), Airport surcharge, VAT (value added tax), Free modifications.
Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 21 years.
A Young driver fee is not applied.

Maximum rental age is 70 years.
A Senior driver fee is not applied.

The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 2 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.

Driver licenses will be accepted if issued in the following country(ies): United Kingdom, EU countries.
Driver licenses from all other countries must be accompanied with International Driving Permit (IDP).
A driver license printed using a non-Roman alphabet (Arabic, Japanese, Cyrillic, etc) must be supplemented by an International Driving Permit.
Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if accompanied by the regular driver license.

In order to pick up the car, the following documents are required: passport, valid driver license, credit card on a main drivers name, booking voucher.
Deposit and deductible policy
A deposit will be blocked on the customer's credit card and will be released within 30 days after drop-off.
Payment policy
At time of pick up, customers will be required to pay the amount of the rental and a deposit.
It is possible to pay and leave the deposit only with the following payment methods: Diners, Eurocard, MasterCard credit card, VISA credit card, American Express credit card.

Cash is accepted as a form of payment.
When paying with cash, a debit/credit card issued on the main driver's name is required for security purposes.

The main driver must provide a physical payment card in their name with enough funds to cover the deposit to pick up the car. The rental company will neither accept virtual credit cards (e.g., GooglePay or ApplePay) nor someone else’s card (including family members).
Cross-border policy
Cross border rentals are allowed only upon previous request.
Additional charges will be applied in case the car is crossing state or region borders.
Details are available from the car rental company's reservation office.

In the event that Cross Border & Territorial Restrictions are violated, all protections lose their validity.

Fuel policy
The vehicle is provided with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid additional charges.

Alternatively, the renter may purchase a tank full of fuel at the time of rental and return the tank empty.
In no case will a refund be given for unused fuel.
Details are available from the car rental company's reservation office.
Additional information
By law, winter tires are mandatory on all roads from 15.11 to 31.03.
Snow chains are allowed in icy/snowy conditions.
Business hours
Service outside of business hours is available by request and for an additional charge.
Period of time, during regular working hours, when the car is still guaranteed for the customer, if the customer is late for pick up (the grace period) is 0 minutes.
