Pros: The car was in good condition, but an old vehicle and the interior was tired.

Cons: The long waiting times for the representative to arrive upon pick up and again when dropping off the car. The fuel tank was EMPTY. No GPS and no maps.

Pros: Not a lot.

Cons: They were difficult to find and were not at the agreed meeting point. The car was old and in poor condition. It had many dents and various things didn't work, such as the boot wouldn't open, the passenger window wouldn't open and the nearside mirror was broken. The fuel should have been full to full but the car was handed over with the tank an eighth full.

Pros: Ola was one of the few agents that bother to return my emails. When the deal on Discover Carhire was better as with them direct, Ashna went the extra mile to assist me. The communication was very clear and professional.They dropped the vehicle off in Grand Baie and they were waiting for us when we arrived about 45 min. earlier than agreed at the airport for the dropoff. I will recommend Ola Mauritius Car hire to everyone I know, I will use nobody else! Thank you for excellent service.

Pros: The car was reliable and the staff attentative

Cons: No name board held up by rep so had to hunt him down at 8pm at night. Very old car (2015) compared to other agencies cars we saw driving around. Car was very dented and looked like a rush job to get it ready for us. We were expected to pay for the parking ticket to get out of the airport.We had no local cash on us.........very odd. we spent MUR 300 having the car cleaned prior to handing it back so that you did not think we had made the car so dirty. Very expensive rental for the product we got.

Cons: First car they rented to us was not a hire car but privately registered. Tourist police stopped us and informed us that we had NO insurance coverage due to the car being a private vehicle.

Pros: No dramas or problems with the car at a reasonable price.

Cons: The agent didn't seek me out at collection (at my hotel) in reception and sat talking to his colleague until someone brought to my attention that he was from a car rental company. Similar problem on drop off in that the agent didn't attend to us for a few minutes and weren't sure we were in the correct place. This is trivial though and my real gripe is; why have the company not returned my deposit to me, 7 days after the car was returned in the same condition it was hired? My money, not theirs!

Rate includes
Free cancellation with a full refund up to 48 hours before your pick-up time, Unlimited mileage, Collision Damage Waiver (deductible: € 2500.00), Theft Protection, Roadside Assistance (in the country of pick-up), Third Party Liability (TPL), Airport surcharge, VAT (value added tax), Free modifications.
Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 21 years.
A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 25.

Maximum rental age is 75 years.
A Senior driver fee is not applied.

The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 2 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.

A driver license printed using a non-Roman alphabet (Arabic, Japanese, Cyrillic, etc) must be supplemented by an International Driving Permit.
Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if accompanied by the regular driver license.

In order to pick up the car, the following documents are required: passport, valid driver license, booking voucher.
Deposit and deductible policy
A deposit will be blocked on the customer's credit card and will be released within 30 days after drop-off.
Optional extras and services
Available special equipment: Baby seat (up to 1 year of age), Child seat (2-4 years of age), Booster seat (4-10 years of age), Wi-Fi, Delivery fee.
Prices for extras are shown on the booking page.

Adding additional drivers is allowed.
There is an additional charge for each driver.
Underage additional drivers are subject to both Young Driver and Additional Driver fees.
When picking up the vehicle, all drivers must be present and must provide valid documentation.

Certain additional drivers are subject to both an Additional Driver fee as well as either a Young Driver or Senior Driver fee.

Delivery/Collection service is available only by previous request. Additional charges will be applied.
Fuel policy
The vehicle is provided with a certain amount of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid additional charges.
Business hours
Period of time, during regular working hours, when the car is still guaranteed for the customer, if the customer is late for pick up (the grace period) is 120 minutes.
