Cons: Office was branded as mycarhire. Optimorent logo was not visible anywhere. By the desk the lady said without credit card I need to pay 4x the amount from discovercars. I would expect my payment to be rejected upfront when paying with debit card. I feel cheated.

Pros: Car was new, clean. It was easy to return the car out of working hours.

Cons: I did not insure my car on your site or in optimo (I am insured with Cover4Rentals). The optimo lady insistently urged me to buy insurance from their company, and when I refused she claimed that optimo would not issue me any documents in case of damage to the car....

Pros: The men working at the pick-up and drop-off of the car were friendly at let me examine the car thoroughly before accepting it. The car was severely damaged and it would be very hard to see what damage was possibly mine or was already existing. But I made sure everything was written down.

Cons: The lady at the counter when picking up the car was very aggressive and wanted to sell me any additional insurance. She said to me that I probably didn't read my contract with DiscoverCars clearly because then I would have known that the full insurance was not so full as it might seem. She even threatened that they would find damage to the car anyway when I would return it. On top of that, the car I got was severely scratched and damaged already.

Cons: Very poor customer service. In addition to above points, we arrived before 8am on a week day and there was nowhere to leave keys or the car.

Pros: This is a maffia company. They sell an extra own insurance if you dont have a credit card. I just wanted to add an extra driver, because she had credit card and I dont. I had to pay extra 300 euro fee for this. During this time othe families had to pay extra charge as well.

Cons: Stay away from this place. These people have no idea what customer service is. They attract you with good rates but come up with other ways to make money off of you. When I get there to pick up the car, they asked for international permit that I’ve never been asked in my life with US driver’s license (and I travel a lot). After a call to a “manager” they announced 20 euro penalty per day for not having one. As a result I ended up paying 50% more on top of what I already paid.

Cons: There was no advance info on how to get from the airport to the rental place, it took a while to figure out. I wasn't the only customer. It also took about 45 minutes to get the car. Finally there was a light on about the tire pressure the entire time we had the car, but the tires were aired correctly.

Cons: We had to wait 45 minutes to get picked up from the airport and another 45 minutes to even speak to an agent, all while standing in the sun on a very hot day. The service was horrible.

Cons: We paid more than the double of agreed amount due to lack of credit card (I always use debit card). Picking up the car was more than 1 hr.

Cons: The car rental didn't go through because the car was already rented to someone else. Instead of being helpful we were only given options with extreme amounts of extra costs for weird reasons, more than doubling our initial cost. We declined of course and took our losses (the initial payment). An example of extra costs: our credit card was not registered to the main driver and this was suddenly an issue that added €200+ , even though it wasn't an issue at the time of reservation.
