Cons: Felt conned and made me effectively pay to upgrade size of car, then made pay extra for road assistance cover after having already spent hundreds of pounds. Felt there using scare tactics and taking advantage of a family of four. No confidence to use again. Even pre-paid for extra protection which they dismissed.

Cons: Extra cost at pick up. A pre programmed time was on the booking form- we hadn’t realised the time was important (we thought it was only the date). As we were more than 3 hours later than the pre programmed time we had to pay an additional cost- even though they had a car available. Felt like a hidden cost.

Pros: Not much, the experience left a rather sour taste in the mouth.

Cons: The front desk refused to accept my Barclaycard credit card for the deposit, claiming it was a debit card. This was in spite of the fact it has "credit card" written on it. Only once I had Discover Cars on the phone and was threatening to walk did they relent. Their scam was trying to get us to buy 300 euros of superfluous insurance. The car was old and tatty, missing the rear parcel tray, and didn't run well (it had high miles). They didn't refund 20 euros worth of our deposit (no explanation)

Rate includes
Free cancellation with a full refund up to 48 hours before your pick-up time, Unlimited mileage, Collision Damage Waiver (deductible: € 1400.00), Theft Protection, Third Party Liability (TPL), Premium Location fee, Road tax, Free modifications, State Tax.
Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 21 years.
A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 25.

Maximum rental age is 74 years.
A Senior driver fee is not applied.

The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 2 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.

In addition to the regular driver license, an International Driving Permit is also mandatory if the customer is not a resident of the following country(ies): Italy, EU.
In addition to the regular driver license, an International Driving Permit is also mandatory if the driver license is written in a language other than that of the renting country and/or in characters that cannot be read in the renting country.
Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if accompanied by the regular driver license.
In order to pick up the car, the renter and each additional driver must present the following documents: passport, credit card, valid driver license, booking voucher. Renters from the following country(ies): Italy must provide the following documents: passport, credit card, valid driver license, booking voucher, proof of home address (e.g. Utility bill) in order to collect the car.
Deposit and deductible policy
A deposit will be blocked on the customer's credit card and will be released within 30 days after drop-off.
Payment policy
At time of pick up, customers will be required to pay the amount of the rental and a deposit.
The following credit cards issued on the main driver's name are accepted: MasterCard, Visa. Any other cards or cash payments are not accepted. For the Luxury, Premium car group, a minimum of two credit cards issued on the main driver's name are required.

The main driver must provide a physical payment card in their name with enough funds to cover the deposit to pick up the car. The rental company will neither accept virtual credit cards (e.g., GooglePay or ApplePay) nor someone else’s card (including family members).
Optional extras and services
Available special equipment: Baby seat (up to 1 year of age), Child seat (2-4 years of age).

All extras are available at the rental counter. Prices vary, depending on the rental period.

Delivery/collection service is not provided.
Fuel policy
The vehicle is provided with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid additional charges.
Additional information
In case of renting at the airport location, the customer must provide a valid flight number in order to make a reservation.
A damage administration fee of 150 EUR will apply in the event of an accident or damage to the car.
By law, winter tires are mandatory on all roads from 15.10 to 15.04 in the following regions: Aoasta-Valley.
Snow chains are recommended in icy/snowy conditions, especially when traveling in mountainous areas.
Rental period
The maximum rental period per agreement is 30 days.
If the renter would like to extend the rental period, renter should return to the car hire office at the end of the rental period to sign a new agreement.

Service outside of business hours is not available.

Period of time, during regular working hours, when the car is still guaranteed for the customer, if the customer is late for pick up (the grace period) is 59 minutes.
