Pros: Quick rental service when picking up and dropping off the car at Brindisi airport.

Cons: The quality of cars I am getting from Discover Cars seems to have deteriorated over the last few rentals - why is that? Also, the cars come 100% uncleaned and this is an issue I have reined on all occasions with you but to no avail.

Cons: I was told that full coverage was was not accepted directly, since it was done via a broker… I needed to take a supplementary insurance. Dit thuis that was a problem with my card and finally a new contract was setup. a Now it seems that we paid 2 times for a car: a fiat panda via discover cars (booking D011718694) that we didn’t get and a vw t-roc from autovia (booking 202501573186) which we received. Cons: Awful service, always a rip off when you get to the desk with a thousand hidden t’s and c’s. Not helpful at all and not willing to help you at the desk. Didn’t own a credit card, so my husband tried to pay on his. When told no it has to be in my name, this is ridiculous when I physically don’t own a credit card. There was no reason why we couldn’t hold this payment under his card with my authorisation. Not helpful at all and had to pay on my debit card which tripled the overall cost.

Pros: Not that happy. I will not recommend them. In fact i will tell friends to avoid them.

Cons: Selling me a much more expensive car as they didn't have the one i ordered. Had very little choice as they had no small cars left. Should never have given my car away in the first place.

Pros: friendly desk staff, close to arrivals and nearby pickup

Cons: Filthy car, dents scratches and rip off tactic charging for "damage" when dropped off in pitch black 3:30 am with no staff to sign it back in. Look at the Pictures - the car looked like it had been in a rally ! DO NOT RENT FROM OPTIMO RENT - ALSO CALLED AUTOVIA - COWBOYS !

Pros: The desk in Brindisi isn't easy to find and is hidden the corner with out a proper sign just a piece of paper stuck to the wall.

Cons: The car was very basic but I suppose you get what you pay for. Internally the car was very dirty, the ariel was snapped of so had no radio for the whole week. The front tyres were both well below recommended psi and I had to go to a garage and get them pumped up.

Rate includes
Free cancellation with a full refund up to 48 hours before your pick-up time, Unlimited mileage, Collision Damage Waiver (deductible: € 1400.00), Theft Protection, Third Party Liability (TPL), Premium Location fee, Road tax, Free modifications, State Tax.
Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 21 years.
A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 26.

Maximum rental age is 74 years.
A Senior driver fee is not applied.

The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 2 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.

In addition to the regular driver license, an International Driving Permit is also mandatory if the customer is not a resident of the following country(ies): Italy, EU.
In addition to the regular driver license, an International Driving Permit is also mandatory if the driver license is written in a language other than that of the renting country and/or in characters that cannot be read in the renting country.
Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if it is accompanied by a regular driver's license, is issued by an official authority or government-authorized organization, and is in physical (not digital) form.
In order to pick up the car, the renter and each additional driver must present the following documents: passport, credit card, valid driver license, booking voucher. Renters from the following country(ies): Italy must provide the following documents: passport, credit card, valid driver license, booking voucher, proof of home address (e.g. Utility bill) in order to collect the car.
Deposit and deductible policy

Payment policy
At time of pick up, customers will be required to pay the amount of the rental and a deposit.
The following credit cards issued on the main driver's name are accepted: MasterCard, Visa. Any other cards or cash payments are not accepted. For the Luxury, Premium car group, a minimum of two credit cards issued on the main driver's name are required.

The main driver must provide a physical payment card in their name with enough funds to cover the deposit to pick up the car. The rental company will neither accept virtual credit cards (e.g., GooglePay or ApplePay) nor someone else’s card (including family members).
Optional extras and services
Available special equipment: Baby seat (up to 1 year of age), Child seat (2-4 years of age).

All extras are available at the rental counter. Prices vary, depending on the rental period.

Delivery/collection service is not provided.
Fuel policy
The vehicle is provided with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid additional charges.
Additional information
In case of renting at the airport location, the customer must provide a valid flight number in order to make a reservation.
A damage administration fee of 150 EUR will apply in the event of an accident or damage to the car.
By law, winter tires are mandatory on all roads from 15.10 to 15.04 in the following regions: Aoasta-Valley.
Snow chains are recommended in icy/snowy conditions, especially when traveling in mountainous areas.
Rental period
The maximum rental period per agreement is 30 days.
If the renter would like to extend the rental period, renter should return to the car hire office at the end of the rental period to sign a new agreement.

Service outside of business hours is not available.

Period of time, during regular working hours, when the car is still guaranteed for the customer, if the customer is late for pick up (the grace period) is 59 minutes.
