Oscar is a car rental company operating in Turkey and Northern Cyprus, the de facto independent, Turkish-speaking part of the island, where it can be found in the Ercan International Airport.
In Turkey, the company operates at major airports including Sabiha Goken and Istanbul Airport in Istanbul, Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport, Antalya Airport, Ankara Esenboga Airport, Bodrum Airport, and Dalaman Airport. The company also has other locations in many cities, including in downtown Fethiye where it won our Excellent Service Award in 2023.
When renting a car with Oscar in Northern Cyprus, you are allowed to travel to South Cyprus though you’ll need to seek permission first and pay an additional fee.
Oscar, like most rental companies in Turkey, doesn’t accept debit cards for leaving the security deposit — you’ll have to have a credit card to rent a car from the company. In Northern Cyprus, however, the company offers zero deductible rentals that don’t require a deposit. In that case, you can use a debit card to pay for the rental and don’t need a credit card at all.
