Pros: Nice car

Cons: Took them 1 and a half hours to send the shuttle bus, even though the depo was 15 mins away. They charged me an extra £385 on top of what I paid Discover Cars and refused to give me the car unless I paid. That's on top of the $1000 deposit. Absolute scam. I will be in touch about refunds.

Cons: OTOQ informed me that they don't take Allstate (a major company) and charged an extra $400 dollars because they made me pay an insurance premium. They informed me this the day of when I showed up to the front desk so I didn't have time to find a different company in time. OTOQ overcharged me by around around $100. They charged me $100 when I reserved the trip, then charged again for the full price when I returned the car. I will never use OTOQ or DiscoverCars again because of this experience.

Cons: We were given a price online for the week, paid a deposit and when we arrived the price more than tripled. I had proof of "balanced owed upon arrival" but it was still not respected

Pros: I need a full refund. No service was rendered. Despite permitting a 9pm airport arrival, the agency wasn't open past 9. The local agency left me stuck at the airport with no vehicle. My family was completely abandoned.

Cons: DiscoverCars should NOT work with OTOQ. They're running a scam - they require that you have 300K of property insurance which is extremely above the norm, and when you don't have it they charge a ton of money because they don't allow you to decline coverage at all. My cheap rental - $112 - turned into an expensive rental at $350, and there was nothing I could do because it was spring break. I also had to threaten legal action in order to get my $500 security deposit back

Pros: Our flight got delayed and you canceled our car and we did not receive our refund like it was promised.

Cons: See above. Plus, we waited for a half hour (literally) in the wrong line where the shuttle dropped us off before the desk person told us it was actually next door. And the number of vendors involved was dizzying -- DiscoverCars, OTOQ, NextCar, Seven Auto -- it was confusing and seemed sketchy. I never knew who I was talking to or who would be responsible. Will not use again.

I've seen it w my own eyes and all of the customers before and after me agreed. We were never told up front and were forced to buy your insurance coverage at a high rate. We all would have rather you be up front and charge us the actual amount. However, you guys don't do this on purpose because you want to lure customers in.

Cons: When booking this trip, the advertising price was extremely misleading. My payment at pickup was expected to be $131.94. When I arrived, my actual cost had changed to $507.50. This was explained to be from additional insurance required, taxes and fees. Their advertising is very deceiving. Since the rental office is offsite there is little to no choice but to proceed with the agreement. I will never use this company again.

Cons: It took a long time for the shuttle to pick me up from the airport & take me back to the airport. There was only one driver who was driving people for 2 different car rental companies. It was confusing to feel confident I was on the correct shuttle since the car company seemed to have 3 names & was sharing the shuttle with another car rental company. They nickel & dimed me about the insurance & toll additional fees.

Pros: The person who was inspecting the car when I returned it was not friendly at all. He did not help me other than removing my suitcase from the trunk. Very poor customer service skills to the point being rude. Not happy at all with the way this boy treated me.

OtoQ forces you to have one of there pre-approved US insurance company even if I had an international car insurance. The insurance I was obliged to pay with OtoQ costed me more than the car rental (and by the way it was a ridiculous coverage like 5000$ … every accident cost more than that). I will never use either discover or OtoQ. They rented a car with maintenance required flashing in the dash… pathetic.

Cons: This car rental company requires you to have $300,000 rental insurance on your private policy which us absolutely ridiculous. Then they charge you for insurance which makes the cost of the rental just as much as a name brand but much more inconvenient. Better off going to Enterprise or whatever, at least you get points for your rental! They don't accept American Express either, most likely because they offer rental coverage when paying with their card.

Poor administrative management sent a replacement car out without a contract/ registration. I was stopped by the police & had no registration to offer proving I was the authorized driver of the car.

Pros: Kevin was the only thing good about my experience. He was incredibly kind and did his best. Overall , my issue is with the company, it's policies, lack of quality product, understaffed, just crap. Kevin however should get a raise bc he was smart and nice and thorough. I hope he finds a better job working elsewhere bc this company sucks.
