OTOQ at Crete Airport Heraklion

Pros: Friendly staff, good car

Cons: Car had many (tens) of small scratches and dents. The guy handing the car photographed each one for over 10 min. Although I told him he must have missed one, when returning the car they found a dent noy on camera. Lucky I had pictures of my own to show it was there before, as they were about to charge me for the extremely small scratch that was always there. I will not rent from there again.

Pros: Professional

Cons: Car seat for kid was uncomfortable

Pros: The collection of the car from the airport was smooth. Joe veer when I arrived there initially I had to wait 20 minutes for them to collect me.

Pros: The staff was really helpful and nice through the whole trip, fast to respond to questions and patient to answer them.

Cons: Would be even better if they would have a car rental office in the airport.

Cons: I thought they would wait for us at the airport but we had to call them to come pick us up. Maybe they waited and we didn't see them. I don't know.

Cons: The lady took forever to actually give us the car, even though it was really late and we already explained her we understand the conditions. I guess it is because she was trying to scam us with some extra conditions that were nowhere visible on the website. We did pay for additional driver and for young driver fee but she wanted us to pay again and explained that “that how it works since you are both young”. It didn’t make sense as in the system we already mentioned that both drivers are young.

Pros: Customer service, price of car

Cons: Loved the service but the technology of the car didn’t work. Navigation was for Romania and Bulgaria only. We were in Crete. Bluetooth, usb connection did not work - it would only charge phone.

Pros: Quick when we needed to change the car, polite staff

Cons: The cars are bitten up, both that i used had some mechanical issues or missing parts, the cars are not properly maintained

Pros: The car was awesome and just what We needed. The staff was friendly, But the pick up was not fluent. Dropping off the car was very easy.

Cons: We had booked 2 infant baby seats with the car. I tried to confirm by email many times that we will get the right baby seats, but didn’t receive a proper answer. When we arrived, there was a pick up service to the office. We couldn’t travel with the babies without car seats. The staff went to pick up the car for us. When the car finally arrived, it had baby seats for bigger children. The staff went to change the baby seats again. All in all very long and unpleasant experience with 2 tired babies

Pros: The staff was very friendly and helpfull, explained everything well and helped with my questions. Got a few years old car, which was nice and unexpected by the price point.

Cons: Το θέμα με την ασφάλεια ήταν λίγο μπερδεμένο γιατί όταν έκλεισα μέσω του site με ανάγκασε να πληρώσω ασφάλεια και όταν έπρεπε να παραλάβω το αμαξι δεν με καλυπτε πλήρως και έπρεπε να πληρώσω επιπλέον λεφτά για να έχω περιεκτική καλυψη Αλλά στο τέλος το ξεκαθαρισαμε!

Pros: Took us from the Airport and drove to the OTOQ place and drove back to the Airport when we handed back the car.

Cons: Information about the additional insurance was a bit misleading, the representative could not clearly describe the need for one if I already had one from DiscoverCars.

Pros: They were helpful.

Pros: The car was really clean and in good condition. The guys there were very helpful and explained everything in detail. They gave their mobile numbers in case of emergency.

Cons: There is nothing that i did not like on this service.

Pros: The car was brand new and no extra policies were imposed. The agent was clear on every details and I was able to drop off the car at the airport saving me a lot of times before departure.

Pros: The car rental agents where so friendly and accommodating and very efficient

Cons: There was a lot of customers to be collected from the airport so we had to go in 2 groups. It wasn’t a major issue though

Pros: They called us on whatsapp in advance. But they did not answer the return calls for about an hour. They were thorough in checking damage before and afterwards and we took pictures of it all together. They were kind interactions once we finally connected.

Cons: They were not there waiting as expected and communicated in initial notes. They did not answer the phone number provided by discover cars. They answered eventually the whatsapp number they called us on. I did not like the pressure to take their "service" insurance which did not cover wheels or glass but otherwise they said covered everything.

Pros: Cordiality, precision, honesty. The car was ok.

Cons: The car was quite old, in particular lights are not automatic and I forgot to swith off them so the battery drop down. Another useful accessory is the USB (to recharge smartphone during trips), but there weren't in the car.

Pros: Fast service very understandable staff, service minded and sweet people. OTOQ prices is very fair to the good quality you get.

Cons: Nothing, everything just played along.

Pros: I like that they made it so easy to get to the car rental place despite it being a few minutes outside of the airport area. It was really convenient and they were really nice, even with a delayed flight and lots of luggage

Cons: I had rented two cars (one for myself and a friend) and one of them was not available so we used one

Pros: Pickup was easy at the airport, and a short drive to the office to pick up the car. Short process and quickly on our way.

Cons: The only issue we had was finding the office again to return the car. The address given when put into a GPS did not find the location. A phone call and suggestion we put in "IKEA" resolved the issue.

Cons: Be very careful when you collect your car. Record every detail of the body work from close detail. They insist you wash the car before you bring it back, i have the feeling they hide scratches witj polish when you collect it, and unless you have proof when you collected the scratch was there you will pay excess. So make sure you really pay close attention to the condition of the car before you drive away.

Cons: Unprofessional. Failure to accept their resposibilty for the condition of the clutch. Ridiculous overcharging without itemised invoice.

Pros: The experience was excellent. I have a lower rating on value only because the vehicle itself was lacking any sort of power. With the island being mountainous, climbing those hills requires more power than this little engine could provide. Not the fault of the renting company but a lesson for me to know the area better and rent the car accordingly.

Cons: Excellent! And they even went above, for an extra fee, to let us drop the car back at 4:30am and give us a ride to the airport.
