Cons: For the first time I was disappointed with Panek. They have put the rules in place from 01.12.23 that if you are renting not directly from them, then you have to take the additional insurance!

Pros: Staff were friendly and patient when getting documentation together.

Cons: It is not Panek's fault but cars in Warsaw Modlin airport are about 300 mts from reception so you have to take your bags along. You can get free 10 min parking in front of terminal to drop bags off after which you can leave the car at its designated parking. This is great if you travelling with someone but not if alone.

Pros: The car from Panek was nearly new only 500km on the clock. After 1km it was obvious something was terribly wrong with the vehicle, one of the wheels was not fitted correctly and the car vibrated terribly. I immediately returned the car. It took another 2 hours before the representative could get permission from management before I got a replacement. I appreciate the representative at the desk did everything he could, but he had to seek approval from 3 senior managers before finding me a new car!

Pros: Decent price, no further problems.

Cons: Spent around 1 hour at the desk, the system wasn’t working… the agent gave me and handwritten documentation, with ho details. The car had a lot of damages overall (especially on the roof), not the best to drive around. The return system was not “plug and play”… no clear informations on what to do at the airport.

Pros: Once the rep turned up he was very efficient and sorted everything out promptly for is including insurance which seemed a fair deal too.

Cons: The biggest downer was the fact we had to wait an hour for the car. With two little kids that were fed up of travelling and we still had a fair trip before us. No fun there. After numerous phone calls we eventually were told that the reps had a fire training which didn’t finish in time hence the delay. That was communicated by not too apologetic region manager. No gesture of goodwill offered. Rep suggested contacting the HQ for potential discount on rental in the future. Didn’t bother though.

Rate includes
Free cancellation with a full refund up to 48 hours before your pick-up time, Unlimited mileage, Collision Damage Waiver (deductible: € 465.00), Theft Protection, Roadside Assistance (in the country of pick-up), Third Party Liability (TPL), Airport surcharge, Free modifications, State Tax.
Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 20 years.
A Young driver fee is not applied.

There is no maximum age.
A Senior driver fee is not applied.

The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 1 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.

If the duration of your stay in Poland is longer than 6 months, a driver license issued in Poland is required.
Driver licenses will be accepted if issued in the following country(ies): United Kingdom, EU countries.
Otherwise, the renter must provide an International Driver Permit (IDP).

In addition to documents mentioned previously, the customer will need the following: passport, valid driver license, credit card on a main drivers name, booking voucher, flight information.
Deposit and deductible policy
A deposit will be blocked on the customer's credit card and will be released within 30 days after drop-off.
Payment policy
At time of pick up, customers will be required to pay the amount of the rental and a deposit.
The following payment methods are accepted: MasterCard credit card, VISA credit card, American Express credit card, MasterCard debit card, American Express Debit card.
It is possible to leave the deposit only with following methods: MasterCard credit card, VISA credit card, American Express credit card.
Only cards issued in the main driver's name are accepted.

For the following car group(s): Premium, a credit card is required.
The credit card must be valid for the following period from the start of the rental: 3 months.

The main driver must provide a physical payment card in their name with enough funds to cover the deposit to pick up the car. The rental company will neither accept virtual credit cards (e.g., GooglePay or ApplePay) nor someone else’s card (including family members).
Cross-border policy
Cross border rentals are allowed only upon previous request.
Crossing country borders is allowed to the following countries: Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Slovakia, Slovenia.
Information on the exact fee amount is available by request.
Crossing country borders is forbidden to the following countries: Moldova, Russia.

In the event that Cross Border & Territorial Restrictions are violated, all protections lose their validity.
Optional extras and services
Available special equipment: GPS Navigation system, Child seat (2-4 years of age).
Prices for extras are shown on the booking page.


Delivery/Collection service is available only by previous request.
Additional charges will be applied.
Fuel policy
The vehicle is provided with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid additional charges.
In no case will a refund be given for unused fuel.
Additional information
Winter tires are recommended during the winter season but are not mandatory.
Snow chains are recommended in icy/snowy conditions, especially when traveling in mountainous areas.
Rental period
The maximum rental period per agreement is 30 days. If the renter would like to extend the rental period, renter should return to the car hire office at the end of the rental period to sign a new agreement.
Business hours
Period of time, during regular working hours, when the car is still guaranteed for the customer, if the customer is late for pick up (the grace period) is 59 minutes.
