Pros: Nothing

Cons: They didn't have the car that I ordered so I had to add extra. Car was really old and dirty, making weird noises. I waited over an hour for the airport pickup. What a nightmare.

Cons: I was given a car with dash board warning lights, the rear lights didn’t worked, I was pulled over because of it. The car obviously had a body work repair done as the repair started to crack. The fuel indicator wouldn’t indicate a full tank although I filled it to the bream so I was risking being extra charged. Luckily the lady who did the reception of the car was very helpful.

Cons: Hello, We rented a car for a week in Romania From the first moment we arrived at the rental company, the service was at a low level and there was no option at all to choose a car. The guy who received us was very rude and said if we don't want it, that's what we have. Finally, with no choice, we took a BMW car and drove to the hotel. Cons: Terrible service provided when picking up the car. we ordered Opel Insiginia wagon but instead we got KIA CEED wagon and told it was the same class (while we know it cost less). Payless rep didnt leave us a choice but taking the car. On the return - the same rep saw a scrath on the front right door and said that we did it... he didnt have any proof and again we didnt have a choice but paying on it. I will never order from you / them again!

Pros: it was worth the money, good size, car,clean ,all good.

Cons: I didn't liked the person that was there,didn't seemed to enjoy being there.not a smile,no effort to make you feel welcomed,it made me feel awkward and weird . they gave me a faulty car,when I tried to call them to help me they hang up the phone a couple of times,then they just let me.handle.it on my own.so I had to take the car back and get another.second car was good.but the staff makes you feel uncomfortable. I would say a smile goes a long way,but may that s just.me.

Cons: They didn’t mention some important tax info when travelling outside Bucharest, which could have saved money and been helpful, the car had squeaky breaks to start with, wasn’t in the best condition, drop off the guy wasn’t very pleasant.

Pros: We have waited a lot about half an hour at the meeting point. When we come, and fill all the documents, payed and waited about 15 minutes to check the car revealed that there's no this car in the garage and I had to make new contract, and we received very ancient car (170000 km) with scratches on every door, front and also inside. I have never seen the auto for rent in such state, l have rented the cars for 30 years

Pros: I rent many cars in the year and this was one of the best i ever had. 1) Reservation was very easy 2) Meet and greet, transfer and contract was nice experience. 3) Mr San was very kind, professional with a big smile! In my next trip ill try to rent with them again.

Cons: Firstly, the car had a fault which they seemed to be aware of, but did not warn clients in advance. There was a warning light and a beep that went off periodically, about every ten minutes. Additionally, the radio volume couldn't be adjusted, which was quite frustrating. The air conditioning also had a mouldy smell. Furthermore, the clutch was stiff or faulty, causing the car to suddenly accelerate when starting. These issues significantly impacted the quality of my experience.

Cons: Really bad service. They were late by 30min to meet as so we had to wait in the airport. When they came they were so cocky and did not even apologize for it. So not nice experience. The car was in a really bad condition. Engine light was on. We got an old car and much smaller than we booked.

Cons: Customer support. Before sending a truck to take us and the car back in Bucharest I had to explain and send photos because they tried to pin down on me the tire explosion. Then when I finally arrived at their office to drop the car I had to go back in the road with my car on the truck platform to fill the gas so that I will not be penalized, as if there wasn’t any incident on the road back.

Cons: - I had to wait 25 minutes in the airport for the representative to arrive. - I had to wait another 35-40 minutes at the Payless office before I could leave.

Pros: Great car and good value for money. We choose to have an upgrade to a brand new car and included a full cover insurance for peace of mind.

Cons: A little hard to find the “meet and greet” person as the flower shop as per instructions no longer exists. Be aware of a possible 50 euro clean tax, which we didn’t have to pay, but it’s in the small prints

Pros: Old car already 135000km on it, superficially cleaned, cluck was not working properly, the car vibrates at 110highway speed. Gear box issues for sure as well.

Cons: That there is no alternative to Credit Card except paying 3times the rental fee for there own insurance.and on top they are able to block for weeks the deposit amount for gas. Which is in local currency. They are claiming they are not able to block the deposit, but they are, other countries they do it, other car rental companys do it. The should be updating the pos or there process of charging the deposit. We the clients are not responsible for the high price of insurance of cars in the country

Cons: My reserved car had a broken wing mirror (agents were aware of that) and other mechanical issues. I got a replacement (smaller car) that in turn had electrical issues (warning sounds and red dash every few minutes...). Won't book again from Payless Otopeni.

Cons: The agent forced us to buy additional expensive insurance which cost €20 a day (!) even though we had full insurance already taken out and we informed him about it. He claimed that it was because our card was a Visa Debit and he would have a problem with the deposit (although with this insurance they also secured the deposit). It has never happened to us before in any country, although we often used debit cards, so we feel cheated because we paid over 100% more than we were supposed to.

Pros: The staff at Payless were kind, helpful, clear, and so friendly to this inexperienced traveler from the US. They answered any questions I had and made me feel that they honestly appreciated my business. I will always use this company when renting in Ro.

Pros: Rental agent, once we finally connected, was professional and tried to be helpful.

Cons: Could not get ahold of representative to get the car (on hold for 45 min). Had to pay extra to get a cab to the rental place, which was less than 1 mile from the airport and the cab charged a premium. Car looked pretty battered with over 100k km on board, had bad tires (deflated even though I had to put air in them once). I paid for GPS and it didn't work (did not receive my 25 euros back).

Cons: They don't return the 100 euro tax of loosing the car key

Cons: The deposit hasn’t been refunded even though it has been a week since I returned the car and everything was agreed to be good by the local car provider. They said the deposit will be unlocked and be refunded in 1-2 days and it hasn’t! I wasn’t handed a copy of the final car check up.

Pros: payless car Romannia have good cars if you rent from them but don't use any more discoverers....they don't provide what they promise
