Priceless
Priceless is an American car rental company that is part of the NP Franchise Group along with the car rental brand Nextcar. The group operates a car rental franchise — it provides the reservation system, branding, and SEO services to independent car rental companies. So when you book through Priceless, you’re likely booking with a local franchisee.
Priceless was founded in 1998. The company has its headquarters in Maryland where it also operates its own car rental locations in the Baltimore area. Its parent company is part of Fitzgerald Automotive which allows it to have plenty of selection of fleet for its corporate locations and help its franchisees acquire and finance their fleets.
The Priceless brand has locations in 10 states in the US: California, Connecticut, Florida (including Orlando, Miami, Tampa, and Fort Lauderdale Airports), Georgia, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Texas, and Wyoming. It also has international locations in 15 different countries and Puerto Rico. These include Canada and Mexico, along with places in the Caribbean, South America, and Europe.
Perspective renters should be aware of the company’s policy regarding where they can travel with their vehicles before booking one. Unlike the largest brands in the US, Priceless often doesn’t allow you to travel everywhere in the country (or Canada) with their vehicles. You may either be restricted to the state where you picked the car up or to a few surrounding states. Of course, if you’re not planning a long road trip through part of or across the country, then this won’t be a problem for you. The company has large penalties it charges renters if they don’t abide by these restrictions, so be sure to know where you can and can’t travel in advance and adhere to that.
Priceless has a diverse fleet in many locations. It has small cars, a whole manner of luxury cars, vans, SUVs, full-size cars, and so on. It’s important to note though that the company’s fleet varies from one location to another. As the company is largely a franchise, most locations are independently operated and acquire their fleet on their own. Thus, you can expect that the cars available from location to location will vary.
Priceless’ locations in many states are located downtown or nearby at car dealerships. These locations primarily serve local residents. In states where Priceless has airport locations, those locations are almost always located outside the airport itself. The company provides shuttle services to customers to reach those locations. For instance, at LAX, the company has an office inside the Renaissance Hotel.
Priceless’ franchise model leads to different locations having different rental policies at times. Be sure to check the rental conditions of the location where you plan to pick up a vehicle to know exactly what those policies are — for instance, whether debit cards are accepted, where you can travel to (as mentioned above), if you need an International Driving Permit, and so forth.
