Prins Car Rental
Prins is a car rental business operating on the small, idyllic islands of Curaçao and Bonaire. Despite being located in the Caribbean Sea, near the coast of South America, the islands are politically a part of the Kingdom of the Netherlands and thus territories of the European Union. Prins Car Rental has an office in Curaçao capital, Willemstad. It likewise has one in Kralendijk on Bonaire.
Prins was founded in 2009 by a student from the Netherlands whose family lives in Curaçao. When he’d return to the island to visit, he noticed both a lack of rental cars available and that most of the rental cars lacked transparent pricing. So he started Prins to fix those problems.
Given the founder’s passion and reasons for starting the company, it’s not surprising that it is highly rated by our customers. The company won our Excellent Car Rental Service Award for Willemstad Hato Airport in both 2023 and 2024.
