RentalPlus at Cagliari Airport

Pros: Very quick pickup and drop-off. Got a car above the range of the booked one for the same price.

Cons: How to get to the rental office from terminal wasn't clear. Car to be picked up had to be found among ca.500 cars on the top floor of a multi-storey car park.

Pros: Friendly staff. Clean car. Good value for money.

Cons: Outside kiosk with only one customer at a time inside. Other customers are then potentially waiting in the heat to be served. Fortunately they were not busy when I picked the car up.

Cons: Car was dirty Had problems with the car - little backup support Wait at office to pickup car in Cagliari

Cons: The agent was patronising and unpleasant to deal with. Everyone else before us and in the queue after us felt the same about her. She should not be working with customers.

Pros: Good location and the car was in good condition and performed very well.

Cons: Pick up took a long time. Also would rather pick up a car with a full tank and return it that way rather than the 3/4 tank that I received and had to return with. Just an added anxiety I could do without.

Cons: The fact that at the pick-up they did not mention that we need to return the car professionally washed and cleaned (inside and out). Because of this issue, once arrived at the drop-off location, we needed to take back the car, take it to the car washing place and clean it ourselves (if not, an additional cleaning fee of 25 Euros).This entire process delayed the drop-off speed considerably. If we knew in advance we would have organised accordingly and clean the car beforehand.

Pros: Simple and straightforward pick up from an exceptionally helpful lady

Cons: Drop off location overly reliant on sat nav Q code provided. This caused confusion on arrival at the airport where customer is faced with multiple entrances and barriers. Would have been simpler for me if the instructions just directed me to the original pickup on the third floor.

Cons: We were a bit early for pick up, but the option we were given was to pay EUR 50 for an extra day or wait. We wanted, and then it took 25 minutes with beaurocratic stuff and picking up the car

Pros: Daniel was helpful and professional at check-in. The Jeep provided had less boot space than the VW T-roc ordered and did not fit our bags, so for an extra 6 euro/day he upsold us a Nissan Qashqai which was near new and ideal for us. The check-in experience was very good as we had all of the necessary documents, and due to an early flight out of Alghero, on return we used RentalPlus’s key drop at its depot in the airport carpark. RentalPlus confirmed return of 500euro deposit with no hassles.

Cons: All was good, this was the first experience in 40 years where the car had to be returned fully cleaned as stated in their contract. Not good use of time when on holiday and with limited resources.

Pros: Everything went fine, we've got a new car and they didn't tried to trick us which happened to us by another provider in the past. Very nice, English speaking staff :)

Pros: The car (Ford Tourneo) was good, worked perfectly for our needs and was good value for money.

Cons: Rude and unhelpful customer reception. I wanted to leave one of the seats of the 7 seater at their office, but they refused. Returning the car was a nightmare as it was not clear where to leave it and there were no signs indication where RentalPlus had their return area.

Cons: Car was parked in a very dark area (hard to see any damage) and the windscreen and rear vie mirror were dirty enough to make it hard to see.

Cons: TOTAL SCAM!!! I rented a car in Cagliari which i used for one week and then returned without any damage as the videos that I took upon pick up and delivery can confirm. However the company insisted that the drivers lock was damaged and charged me for that the outrageous amount of 500euros which was the deposit plus some administrative fees on top of that!! I am writing this review so that no other clients feel completely ripped off by this scam company..

Cons: Rather use another rental company. Rental worked out MUCH more expensive due to using a debit card. Consultant who assisted was not very helpful. Will never use the again if at all possible. Hard to find directions back to return the car. The whole experience was a mess. Never again.

Cons: I paid for rent a car 252 EUR + 74 EUR EUR for full coverage. Total was 327 EUR. When i was picking up the car I need to pay aditional 322 EUR for debet credit card + 100 EUR. I got 100 EUR back, total amout is doubled to 652 EUR. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. Never expect this in EU country. I will complaint for this.

Cons: When arriving at the rental desk, no one was there, and they arrived after more than 30 minutes. I paid €180 for the car in advance, and when I was supposed to leave a deposit at the rental desk, even though I had enough for a deposit on two cards, they refused to accept a deposit because the card did not have embossed numbers. They were able to accept a deposit, but told me that I would have to pay a €240 fee, to accept my credit card and to give me the rental car. Absolutely unacceptable

When I called the number the company refused to give me their address and instead gave me directions from the airport which were useless and incorrect. Once we finally made it to the location (because we googled it!) we were met with a line of ppl waiting to pick up and drop off cars with only two ppl helping customers. It was an awful end to our rental experience and almost made us miss our flight
