Pros: After dropping the car, there was a bus that took me back to the airport.

Cons: The day of pick up, I called at least 2 times and my call wasn't answered. The taxis refused to take me to Via Del Gregge, 220, telling it's not a valid address without the name of a locality. I had to go there on foot, several km away from the airport. Outside of the building there are no signs of RentSmart24, only ParkingGO.

Cons: Car was damaged previously and when I picked it up it was late night and there is no way I could have been checked everything. On my return they managed to find a small scratch near rear wheel under the car. This looked old scratch. It looks like they know where to look and also try to sell their insurance ( actually inserted).

Pros: Quite friendly and efficient staff. The car provided was in very good conditions. You need to take a shuttle to the pick up place, but it is quite near.

Cons: If you are new to Malpensa it may be hard to find the shuttle place. The riders of the shuttle, even though quite helpful did not seem to speak english.

Cons: 1. It wasn't clear to me how to arrive to the pick-up offices and where are the offices (not at the terminal but a driving distance) and the importance of check-in before the rental. The check-in online was too much details to provide and that's why I didn't finish it in advance. 2. I had a problematic engine noise in the car without any indicator on the dashboard in the middle of my vacation and the only solution given to me was to go back to Milano to change the car which wasn't practical.

Pros: I liked the ability to communicate via WhatsApp, transfer from the airport, the car is very good, amazing to drive in the mountains, a wonderful car from an Italian manufacturer. Thanks a lot . no complaints, just some small suggestions.

Cons: Returning the car was not very convenient, we waited for a long time, there was only one employee, the car was not very clean inside, when the car arrived at the airport we were not at the airport, then they found us, we had to travel with five of us in one seat, very inconvenient

Pros: The car was brand new only 80km in the odometer. The bus shuffle that drive us to and from the airport was fast and really convenient.

Cons: We lost almost an hour to get the car because of very few agents. We haven't got the online check in and we had to do the check in by ourselves in our mobile phone. The agent that we met was not helpfull and sometimes looked arrogant.

Cons: The only issue was the insurance, we had full coverage, but it seems this was with Discover Cars and not with 24 Smart. We were told in the case of any damages to the car we would have to pay at least 1000 euros, and then get reimbursed by Discover Cars, and the guy tried to get us to purchase additional insurance with them. I think both companies should have an agreement between themselves about the insurance and not expose the customers to additional expenses or stress.

I am a lawyer by profession, and when I told the rep, she was talking rubbish, and that the agreement stated insurance included, she insisted that I had to take insurance out.

These were NOT caused by me, but they were not noted on pick up. I took a video of the car on pick up, but the scratches were so small, that they could not be seen on the video. The representative insisted that we need to pay 60 Euro for replacement PLUS 65 Euro "Admin fee". Completely unacceptable. Scam. Do NOT use Rent Smart 24.

Cons: The car developed a slow puncture. I notified the hire company immediately andput the spare tyre onto the hire car. Upon return I was told I would be charged 395 euros as they needed to change both front tyres . The other tyre only had 9000km of wear. When I got home I received and invoice for 420 Euros + 95 Euros admin fee. This is what was taken from my credit card. I think that rent smart 24 are dishonest and are racketeering. I will never use this shoddy company again.

Cons: They made me pay for the most expensive insurance coverage or I was not allowed to take the car. They said because because I didn’t have an international drivers permit which is bullshit because my nephew has been renting vehicles in Italy for 10-15 years and does not have as international drivers permit and has never been required to pay for the insurance.

We have sent numerous letters to both customer service departments, made countless calls, yet received no response. This left us in a distressing situation with no resolutions or assistance in sight.
