Cons: Lazy people who got mad when I had a question regarding the charges. They acted like they were doing me a favor instead of helping a paying customer. There were 5 of them at the counter yet it took over 30 minutes for someone to get our car. Cons: The pricing was very sketchy. I paid a price online supposedly for everything and tried to use my own insurance but they said insurance on a car 9 years old doesn’t work? I call BS. Plus, they sent 2 more different quotes to my email for the rental? Then, they finally gave me a different overall quote for the rental. It was actually reasonable for the time I had the car but very confusing. I would not rent here again.

Pros: We ended up somehow with allied car and truck rental, not routes. Not sure if they were bought out or something. We chose this rental because it was much cheaper than others. But after they force you into their insurance and all these other fees and charges you end up paying way more. And they don’t give you any itemized details of what you are paying for until you drop the car back off.

Cons: Worse than that, they rented us a car that wasn’t ready. After waiting for that car for 45 mins, they brought us a different one. We got our kids and all our bags loaded into it and then they made us get back out because it was rented to someone else. So we waited another half hour for the one they were supposed to rent us in the first place. And they absolutely do not care about the service they are providing. The person at the desk literally said it wasn’t his problem.

Cons: The process was extremely slow, took over an hour to get our vehicle. The car had terrible breaks and the "oil change required" indicator light came on shortly after we started our trip. Upon returning the car, the staff was rude and complained that the interior was dirty, when there was only a bit of sand on the all-weather floor mats. I was never given a final receipt, even when asked. I will not be using them again.

Cons: Rude, unapologetic service who had several bad things to say about renting using discover cars. After taking several hours, I walk up to the desk and the attendant looks at me and states “we don’t have your rental cars” which was an incredibly stressful first statement to make. Somehow about 5 minutes later she changed her mind and had one of the two suvs I had reserved. Not a great experience even though we ended up having two cars to drive but only one of what we paid for.

Pros: Did not like the service at all. Was told by one of the agents after being upset because I had to drive for the 3rd time to the location. To have the car exchanged me importa un cono. I give two fucks what you need. Very unprofessional. They do not care about providing great customer service or resolving the issue. Only Hugo from the other side of the allied facility was able to ease the situation and resolve to what he could do by getting another agent to assist us.

Cons: Car are not maintained properly. Kis Sedona battery died , jeep grand Cherokee- wheel air slowly getting flat filled about 15 times within 2 days and paid $1 ea h time. Third car Kia Sedona had roaches in the center console. How in the world does a car get infested with roaches?? Send pictures to the general manager via email didnt bother in ever getting back to us.Spend $6 on raid because it was too late and tired of driving back to your location to deal with rude unempatetic employees.

Cons: Horrible service, car had dents, cigarette burns, smelled like smoke, half tank of gas, low tire pressure from the start, and NO BREAK LIGHTS. Wasted a day of my rental and vacation getting them fixed. Not just slow service, but unfriendly at both locations I went to (one for pickup, one for repairs). No number to call the actual locations to ask questions or request repair. Only the 24/hr roadside assistance number, which couldn’t help unless stranded.

The employee came out and said it was a faulty sensor (but did not check tire pressure). He could have told us prior (or he made it up).

Pros: Terrible, terrible, terrible service!! Arrived to rental place at 1 am and did not leave until 4am! Only one person attending for over 10 people in line waiting to pick up their car. Process for each person took well over 30 min. We paid for a Jeep and they didn't have it available, then the cr they offered was not even ready! The security guard did us a favor by actually cleaning the car, only had 1/4 of gas and we had about an hour and half drive and barely any gas stations open. Never again!!

Cons: Everything! The dropping off part was easy. On the way to the airport the driver almost crashed because he was to busy looking at his WhatsApp instead of paying attention to the road! My husband had to tell him to watch out if not we would've been in an accident! Terrible. -10/10

If you read allied/routes car rental reviews it looks like we're not the only ones with the same experience.

Also, I reserved a car for five people and five bags, and we had a tiny car and literally had to put our suitcases under our feet and sit crisscross applesauce.

Cons: Rented car through Allied car rentals. That was the most horrible experience I ever had picking up a car. Firstly the agent was very rude. She checked me in and made me wait for an hour. I had a 15 month old with me waiting for the car for an hour. First they tried to give me some shitty car but then they realized I was watching them while they were bringing the car from the lot. Then they took back the shitty car saying it had mechanical trouble. My kid was crying as it was her nap time.

A staff member at Allied also left their iPad they use to take pictures on the back of the car's trunk...amazingly it stayed on even though we drove to dinner which was about 20 minutes away on the highway and local roads. Allied was clearly understaffed.

Pros: The vehicle was clean.

Cons: They charged me additional $262 in fees that I am still trying to find an explanation for. They used deceptive business practices and wording to add additional fees to their pricing.

Rental Conditions

Rate includes
Free cancellation with a full refund up to 48 hours before your pick-up time, Unlimited mileage, Collision Damage Waiver (deductible: ~€ 475.00), Theft Protection, One-way rental, Third Party Liability (TPL), Airport surcharge, Vehicle registration fee, Environmental charge, Free modifications, State Tax, Customer Facility Charge (CFC).
Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 21 years.
A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 25.

Maximum rental age is 100 years.
A Senior driver fee is not applied.

The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 1 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.

The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 6 month(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.

In addition to the regular driver license, an International Driving Permit is also mandatory if the national driver license is not written in English.
Driver licenses will be accepted if issued in the following country(ies): Australia, Canada, New Zealand, USA, EU.
Otherwise, the renter must provide an International Driver Permit (IDP).
A driver license printed using a non-Roman alphabet (Arabic, Japanese, Cyrillic, etc) must be supplemented by an International Driving Permit.
Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if accompanied by the regular driver license.

In addition to documents mentioned previously, the customer will need the following: passport, valid driver license, credit card on a main drivers name, booking voucher, proof of home address (e.g. Utility bill), full G driver license, 2 phone numbers (1 of which is landline).
Insurance
Supplemental Liability Insurance (SLI), Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) can be declined, if the renter can provide his/her own insurance.
Acceptable proof of insurance must include name of the insurer, address of the insurer, policy number.
In case the customer does not have one of the insurances, mentioned above, the customer will need to purchase insurance at the counter.
Renters who do not purchase insurance coverages from local partner, and who have not arranged for other insurance coverage that is valid in the country of pick up, may be personally responsible to supplier and/or third-parties for damages up to the full value of the rental vehicle and/ or for all damages caused to third-parties and their property.
Deposit and deductible policy
A deposit will be blocked on the customer's credit card and will be released within 30 days after drop-off.
The exact deposit is determined on pick up since the amount is dependent on the type of vehicle.
Payment policy
At time of pick up, customers will be required to pay the amount of the rental and a deposit.
It is possible to pay and leave the deposit only with the following payment methods: MasterCard credit card, VISA credit card, American Express credit card.
The following payment methods are accepted: Cash, Discover, Visa Debit Card, MasterCard debit card, American Express Debit card.

Cheques, Prepaid cards is/are not accepted.

The main driver must provide a physical payment card in their name with enough funds to cover the deposit to pick up the car. The rental company will neither accept virtual credit cards (e.g., GooglePay or ApplePay) nor someone else’s card (including family members).
Cross-border policy
It is forbidden to cross country borders.
Optional extras and services
Available special equipment: GPS Navigation system, Booster seat (4-10 years of age).
Prices for extras are shown on the booking page.

Adding additional drivers is allowed.
There is an additional charge for each driver.
Underage additional drivers are subject to both Young Driver and Additional Driver fees.
When picking up the vehicle, all drivers must be present and must provide valid documentation.

It is allowed to add up to 2 additional drivers.
Fuel policy
The vehicle is provided with a certain amount of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid additional charges.
Additional information
In case of renting at the airport location, the customer must provide a valid flight number in order to make a reservation.
Rental period
The maximum rental period per agreement is 30 days.
If the renter would like to extend the rental period, renter should return to the car hire office at the end of the rental period to sign a new agreement.
Business hours
Period of time, during regular working hours, when the car is still guaranteed for the customer, if the customer is late for pick up (the grace period) is 60 minutes.
The grace period will be honored only during business hours.
