Cons: Aaaawful experience, THE WORST car rental in Montreal! First they failed to send us our copy of the digital contract (yes! Digital! So yes, they failed sending us an email!) and we had to go back next day as they didn’t even answer phone calls or emails, only to ask them IN PERSON to send us our copy! So not only had to change our trip plans for a few hours, but also had to take extra mileage and use extra gas! When there, we asked them for some sort of compensation but they refused and told us/

Cons: We were given a car with a leaky tire. It gradually leaks from the time we got it. Instead of resolving the situation, the car rental place said we would have to either pay for a new tire repair ourselves or continue to use the malfunctioning, dangerous car, given that the car was undrivable we returned it two days early with no refund, apologies, or explanation for this horrible service. Routes is a company that profits off of charging customers for general car maintenance. Do not support them.

Pros: Pricing is quite favorable. New model vehicles.

Cons: The airport pickup shuttle is ABSOLUTELY not suitable for elderly and small children. The steps are TOO high. People are falling to the ground by trying to get in/out of the shuttle. The rental car administration seam not much care of the situation.

Cons: details about the location, getting there, and telephone support directs you back to online support which is not very helpful when arriving at a new travel destination and unfamiliar with transport, layout of the land, internet communications, and being overwhelmed by people in a foreign place.

Cons: The car KIA was very good. But the additional GPS was from a bad quality. We had to Pay 147 dollar but on the road we had to use Google maps all the time. That was really money for nothing.

Pros: The staff is kind. The price is the lowest.

Cons: The car exterior was in really bad shape - full of scratches and dents. Very quickly can be delivered and pay for scratches that were there and might have been missed in the initial inspection. This means you will need to spend a ridiculous amount of time inspecting the car by the time you pick it up.

Pros: Customer service agents and shuttle drivers were friendly and accomodating. Price and selection of vehicles was good, as was close proximity to airport. Check in process on Sunday was smoother.

Cons: Scheduling pick up and drop off at Trudeau, check out process when picking up car was slow. (credit card reader was not working, agent had to switch lines to finish transaction)

A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 25.

A Senior driver fee is not applied.

The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 1 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.

This product is not available for the residents of the following locations: Quebec, Manitoba.

The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 6 month(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental. Driver licenses will be accepted if issued in the following country(ies): Australia, Canada, New Zealand, USA, EU countries. An International Driving Permit is required (in addition to your regular driver license) if the national driver license is not written in the following language(s): English.
Otherwise, the renter must provide an International Driver Permit (IDP).
Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if accompanied by the regular driver license.

Learner's permits are not accepted; a full driver's license is required.
In order to pick up the car, domestic renters must present the following documents: passport, valid driver license, credit card on a main drivers name, proof of home address (e.g. Utility bill), full G driver license, 2 phone numbers (1 of which is landline).

Residents of the state where the car is to be picked up are not allowed to rent this car. The customer's drivers license will be checked to determine residency.
Deposit and deductible policy
A deposit will be blocked on the customer's credit card and will be released within 30 days after drop-off.
The exact deposit is determined on pick up since the amount is dependent on the type of vehicle.
Residents of the following country(ies): Canada, USA, who use their own insurance, will be personally responsible for the full value of the rental vehicle.
Cross-border policy
Additional charges will be applied in case the car is crossing state or region borders.
Optional extras and services
Available special equipment: GPS Navigation system, Booster seat (4-10 years of age).
Prices for extras are shown on the booking page.

Adding additional drivers is allowed.
There is an additional charge for each driver.
Underage additional drivers are subject to both Young Driver and Additional Driver fees.
When picking up the vehicle, all drivers must be present and must provide valid documentation.

All extras are available at the rental counter. Prices vary, depending on the rental period.
Booked extras are not guaranteed. All extras are subject to availability at the rental counter.

Fuel policy
The vehicle is provided with a certain amount of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid additional charges.
Additional information
In case of renting at the airport location, the customer must provide a valid flight number in order to make a reservation.
Rental period
The maximum rental period per agreement is 21 days.
If the renter would like to extend the rental period, renter should return to the car hire office at the end of the rental period to sign a new agreement.
After one rental period ends, 24 hours must pass before the customer can start another rental period.
Business hours
Service outside of business hours is available by request and for an additional charge.

Period of time, during regular working hours, when the car is still guaranteed for the customer, if the customer is late for pick up (the grace period) is 120 minutes. The grace period will be honored only during business hours.
